  • Iran might be the key to Sean "Diddy" Combs' defense in his sex trafficking trial. Sources say his legal team may use the growing conflict in the Middle East to cast doubt on the federal case against the disgraced rap mogul. The defense may invoke the recent unrest during their closing arguments.

Additionally, sources allege that Diddy's attorneys believe prosecutors have not met the burden of proof required for conviction. They may even choose to rest their case without calling any witnesses after the prosecution concludes, as both sides prepare for closing arguments scheduled for Thursday.

Iran recently launched missiles at U.S. bases in the Middle East in retaliation for an earlier U.S. strike under former President Trump. It remains to be seen how the prosecution will respond if the defense uses this geopolitical context as part of its strategy

  • It's week seven of the Sean "Diddy" Combs trial, with the prosecution's case drawing to a close, and the defense indicating it may only need two days to present its case - meaning closing statements could come this week.

One woman is dead and nine others are recovering after gunfire broke out at a Juneteenth celebration in South Carolina.

The fallout continues following the not guilty verdict in the murder trial of Karen Read.

  • Sean Diddy Combs' unsettling response to watching 'freak-off' tapes in a private part of court catches the attention of those around him in court.

The rap mogul allegedly licks his lips and rubs his hands together after watching a 'freak-off' tape. The disgraced music mogul asks for extra time to watch tapes of his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, having sex with male escorts while Combs watched. Diddy's defense lawyers say the videos prove the rapper was having consensual sex rather than committing crimes.

As Diddy's trial comes to a close, he grants full access to his biggest Hollywood supporter, Kanye West, who is supporting the disgraced rapper. During Kanye's first appearance, the "gold digger" rapper was escorted to an overflow room. Combs then adds West to his guest list and reports suggest West may attend the trial again as the defense presents their case.

The jury could start deliberating as early as Friday, Sean "Diddy" Combs' lawyer, Teny Geragos, tells the judge. Geragos says the defense and prosecution will each take a minimum of four hours delivering closing arguments which may begin as early Thursday.

  • A British man has come forward claiming his German wife ran over Madeleine McCann. He reports his wife was drunk, hitting the girl then the couple hid, then disposed of the body.  According to an new report, sister of the man submitted a tip to police in the UK in 2018 which was reportedly not investigated.  This tip came at a time when German national Christian Brueckner had been named a suspect in the 2007 disappearance of British toddler Madeleine McCann,

Brueckner, 44, was convicted in Germany of raping an elderly American woman in 2005. He served 7 years.  Three-year-old Maddie went missing from a vacation rental while on a family holiday in Portugal.

  • At 3:42 a.m. on February 17, 1970, Green Beret Doctor Jeffrey MacDonald makes an emergency phone call from his base housing at 544 Castle Drive at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The dispatcher hears the faint message, a call for help, "Stabbing! Hurry!"  Inside the residence, MacDonald's wife, Colette, 26, and five months pregnant, lies dead on the floor of the master bedroom, their daughters, Kimberley, 5, and Kristen, 2, are found dead in their respective beds.  Jeffrey MacDonald suffered minor injuries, compared to his wife and daughters. MacDonald claims 4 hippies, 3 men and a woman, came into his home, killed his family and knocked him unconscious. MacDonald says the woman with long blond hair was wearing a white floppy hat and holding a candle while chanting "Acid is groovy, kill the pigs." The case has been turned into books, movies, articles, and lawsuits. MacDonald was convicted for the murder of his wife and daughters and sentenced to life in prison. Jeffrey MacDonald claims he was wrongly convicted and has never wavered from his claims that hippies murdered his wife and daughters. Joseph Scott Morgan and Dave Mack discuss the case and the injuries suffered by Colette, Kimberley, Kristen, and Jeffrey Macdonald, and compare the forensic facts to the story told by the one person who survived.

  • It took a jury less then 30 minutes to convict already convicted murderer Lori Vallow Daybell of conspiring to kill Brandon Boudreaux, her niece's ex-husband. This is Vallow's third criminal trial in less than three years.   Vallow has already been convicted in the deaths of her children, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow, and Tammy Daybell, her current husband, Chad Daybell’s, first wife, as well as her former husband Charles.

On the morning of July 11, Charles Vallow goes to Lori’s rental home in Chandler, Arizona, to pick up JJ for school.  Alex Cox, Lori’s brother, is also there. Within an hour, Vallow is lying in a pool of blood, shot by Alex Cox. Cox claims self-defense and is not charged.

Later, in June 2021, a Maricopa County Grand Jury charged Lori Vallow with one count of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, in the death of Charles Vallow.

  • Sean "Diddy' Combs federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial resumes after an expected juror illness, Wednesday and Juneteenth Holiday, Thursday. After this two day pause, the government's case winds down as they bring on their last witness, former assistant to Diddy, Brendan Paul and Diddy's alleged "drug mule."

Paul is arrested in March 2024 right around the same time Combs' homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by federal authorities. Paul's arrest consists of coke and weed-related charges at the Miami-Opa Locka Airport that March. The former assistant's charges were ultimately dismissed after he completed a pretrial diversion program. Paul was described as a "mule" for Combs in a 2024 federal lawsuit against the mogul by producer Lil Rod. "He acquires, and distributes, Mr. Combs Drugs, and Guns," the suit reads.

On the stand, Paul tells jurors he was more than just an assistant, he was Diddy’s go-to man for drugs, including cocaine, ketamine, MDMA (aka “tusi”), ecstasy, prescription pills, and high-grade weed. When asked about his relationship with Combs, Paul says " it is complicated." Paul testifies to working between 80 and 100 hours a week and the cocaine found on his person at the time of his 2024 arrest was left over from his cleaning of Diddy’s room. Paul claims he personally witnessed the use of coke, ketamine, ecstasy, weed, and more by his former boss, Diddy.

  • NBC News' Dateline revealed new details about Idaho college murder suspect Bryan Kohberger, including his phone activity, disturbing search history, and a chilling selfie taken before his arrest.

The report details Kohberger’s searches for Ted Bundy, pornography, and the Britney Spears song “Criminal.” His phone also contained a selfie dated December 28, 2022, showing him staring into the camera in a black hoodie—similar to the clothing Bundy wore in a YouTube video found in Kohberger’s search history.

Dateline also uncovered new information about the killings. Investigators believe Ethan Chapin was the last victim targeted. He was allegedly asleep in bed when the attacker “carved” his lower legs with a blade. Before that, the killer reportedly chased and stabbed Xana Kernodle, who was still awake after ordering food from DoorDash.

  • A juror’s vertigo halted another day of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial before it began. The trial will resume Friday after a break for the Juneteenth holiday on Thursday. Prosecutors had planned to rest their case this week after presenting evidence over six weeks, but the delay means they likely won’t finish until Monday.

Combs’ federal racketeering and sex trafficking trial has revealed new details about the disgraced rap mogul. Text messages introduced in court included a surprising item: a list of his favorite sermons. Titled “PD’s Favorite Sermons,” the list was compiled by a YouTube account called “Assistants PD” and surfaced during Jane Doe’s testimony.

Another revelation came from one of the civil sex trafficking lawsuits against Combs, which describes his chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, as “the Ghislaine Maxwell to Combs’ Jeffrey Epstein.”

Prosecutors allege Combs forced Cassie Ventura to take part in so-called “freak-offs,” while the defense claims she participated voluntarily. Jurors again watched footage of Combs’ drug-fueled sex parties, with the defense showing longer clips than the prosecution.

  • Jurors in Sean "Diddy" Combs sex trafficking trial were shown three "freak off" sex tapes given to the state by Cassie Ventura. Combs mother, sister, and three sons were in the courtroom listening to his ex talk about these orgies. Jurors cringed and some turned their heads.  The galley was unable to view the video. Jurors watched on small monitors with headphones.

In other testimony, a paralegal specialist with the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, Ananya Sankar, said she reviewed the accuracy of the government charts that summarize exhibits.   The charts show the jury text messages and other information that haven't been discussed in testimony, but were submitted into evidence.

Among the evidence, texts between Combs staff planning "hotel nights," Diddy and Cassie, with Khorram and other staff discussing getting $4,000 cash to the hotel. Khorram tells assistant, Dave Shirley,  “Heads up, he’s probably about to do wild king tonight.” Shirley responds, "...need to reup on baby oil". The jury also sees a text from Khorram to Cassie, "Hi, Dave is at your door with the green".

Prosecutors say they expect to rest their case as early as tomorrow, Wednesday.

  • Inside a federal courtroom in Manhattan Monday, prosecutors presented jurors with portions of three sexually explicit videos said to feature Sean Combs in what witnesses have described as “freak-off” sex marathons. The clips, played only for jurors and courtroom parties wearing headphones, came from a cellphone linked to Combs and turned over by his former girlfriend, Casandra Ventura.

Two teenage brothers have been sentenced to 20 years in prison for their roles in a drive-by shooting that killed a 5-year-old girl in Albuquerque.  The shooting, part of a surge in violence in 2023, led New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to declare a public health emergency, temporarily restricting guns in public parks and playgrounds.

  • A major shakeup hits the Sean Combs trial after the judge dismisses a Black male juror.

Judge Arun Subramanian says concerns emerged about the juror’s candor after he allegedly gave conflicting statements about his residence. Combs’ defense team vigorously objects to the removal of “Juror 6,” arguing it reduces the panel’s diversity. The dismissed juror is replaced by a 57-year-old alternate—a white accountant from Westchester.

Paralegal specialist Ananya Sankar completes cross-examination as jurors review text messages between Sean “Diddy” Combs and his staff about purchasing drugs. In one thread, Combs’ head of security, Faheem Muhammad, receives approval to buy thousands of dollars’ worth of narcotics.

Other messages between Chief of Staff Kristina Khorram and Muhammad show Combs once requested 15 MDMA pills, also known as molly or ecstasy.

  • The FBI is now entering the investigation into the disappearance of young Kyron Horman.

The morning he went missing. Skyline Elementary School in northwest Portland Oregon is having their annual science fair so the school is opened about 30-minutes earlier than normal to allow parents and students to see the different projects created by the students. Arriving at Skyline just after 8 a.m., Kyron Horman and his stepmother, Terri Horman, go to his classroom and drop off his coat and backpack. Kyron then shows his stepmother his exhibit called "The Red-Eyed Tree Frog".

The two walk around the classes looking at other students' projects and see many other parents and children who have arrived early for the science fair. Terri Horman volunteers her time helping Kryon's teacher, Kristina Porter, and Porter sees Kyron and Terri Horman in Kyron's classroom that morning and another teacher sees Kyron and Terri in another classroom before the 8:45 a.m. school bell rings

As Terry Horman leaves the school, she sees Kyron walking down a hallway toward his classroom inside Skyline Elementary. Kyron has already placed his bookbag and coat in Miss Porter's classroom when he first arrived for the science fair.  Miss Porter starts her class as like every day, then reading group, then recess, then lunch. Around 3pm the children, tired from a busy day, get on the bus to go home.

Kyron Horman's father Kaine is at home getting his daughter ready to meet Kyron's bus after school.  When Kyron doesn't get off the bus, Kaine Horman assumes there is confusion and Kyron is waiting to be picked up at school. The bus driver calls the school to see if Kyron is waiting to be picked up and finds out from the front office that Kyron has been marked absent, he hasn't been at school all day.

Investigators build a timeline quickly as they search for Kryon Horman. The 7-year-old arrives at school with his stepmother, Terri Horman, around 8 a.m. for the Science Fair. Kyron and his stepmother see teachers and other parents touring the classes, and Terri Horman says goodbye to Kyron in the hallway that goes toward his classroom at 8:45 a.m. near the south entrance of the school.  Investigators say Kyron is seen by one more person around 9 a.m. but they will not identify the individual.
