Maggie Daniels was a 31 one year old beloved teacher and school counselor in North Carolina. When friends and family didn’t hear from her they immediately sprung into action, and she was found brutally murdered in her apartment. In 1976, Martin Dillon, a promising lawyer in Montrose, PA, was shot and killed during a clay shooting trip with his friend, Dr. Stephen Scher. Scher claimed it was an accidental self-inflicted gunshot, but rumors of an affair between Scher and Martin’s wife, Patricia, cast doubt. It would take many years to unravel this story.

Stacey Hanna was an 18 year old woman who was searching for her place as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. She believed that she had finally found her people in some friends who lived in Richmond, Virginia. Shortly after moving in, however, Stacey became an outcast within the group. It wasn’t long before 4 of her so-called “friends” plotted to teach her a lesson and brutally murdered her. Phillip Ingle had a troubled past and struggled with substance abuse disorder and mental health issues. But then in 1991, he terrorized a small North Carolina town by brutally murdering 4 of its elderly residents for seemingly no reason.
