Austin, Texas in the late-1800s was starting to become a bustling hub for business. And with the rush of people coming in, unsavory characters also came in with them. The mysterious figure dubbed “The Servant Girl Annihilator,” by the American writer O. Henry, someone would stalk the streets at night, invade the rooms of servants, and brutally attack and kill his victims. This is part one of Criminal Intent’s recount of the historical case of “The Servant Girl Murders.”

Lurking in the shadows of Washington D.C. away from the thousands of Vietnam War protestors was a predator looking for young girls and teens to abduct, rape, and kill. At least six girls would die by the hands of the killer dubbed the Freeway Phantom.
Now, some 50 years later, there are still very little answers into who killed Carole Spinks, Darlenia Johnson, Brenda Crockett, Nenomoisha Yates, Brenda Woodard, and Diane Williams. On this episode of Criminal Intent, we will discuss who where these six girls and what happened to them at the hands of the Freeway Phantom.

On Thanksgiving Eve 1971, America's most famous skyjacking occurred upon Northwest Orient Airlines' flight 307, on course from Portland, Oregon to Seattle Washington. The mystery of who would have done it and why still intrigues professional investigators and internet sleuths alike.
Criminal Intent’s host, De Andra Kenoly, will take a look at seven suspects that were on the FBI's list. These were the ones we felt were the most compelling and interesting. Without having any hard evidence to pin it on a particular person, these suspects were subsequently taken off.
A special thanks to Colm Whelan for researching and co-writing this script.Social Media Links
