He was one of the world's most famous adult film stars before Jesus transformed this prodigal’s life. Today he’s a speaker who preaches to 1000s about Christ, he’s a husband & a father of four, a man of faith who spends his time preaching about the lies that keep him trapped for years. Pastor, Author and Speaker Joshua Broome left the adult film industry at the peak of success, in a deep, dark, depressed and hopeless stage of his life. But someone stopped him and asked a question that changed the trajectory of his life forever. He’s written a book called “7 Lies That Will Ruin Your Life” to help others find healing, hope and truth.
Your identity is not in what you have done or what you are doing, but in Christ Jesus. It’s a miracle story. Unmentionable is an eight-part documentary podcast that follows Joshua Broome’s six-year career as an actor in the adult film industry and explores the history of pornography in America and its intertwined relationship with popular culture. Joshua exposes the lies that seem great and appealing, but are only to lure us into bondage. Find more at joshuabroome.me and on social media at iamjoshuabroome.

Jenny’s guest for this segment is Pastor Jack Hibbs, the senior and founding Pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, based in Southern California, Founder & President of Real Life Network, and a nationally syndicated TV & Radio host. They are talking about his book, “Living in the Daze of Deception: How to Discern Truth from Culture’s Lies.” He shares with us how Jesus warned that deception would grow worse as we draw nearer to the end times, saying, “Take heed that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4). Distinguishing truth from error has become an increasingly challenging task—even in the church.
We live in a time when falsehoods assault us from every direction. Packaged with just enough truth to make them appear trustworthy, these counterfeits have grown more and more difficult to detect and avoid. "Living in the Daze of Deception” explores the many ways error is masquerading as truth—and how you can discern the difference. The greatest antidote to deception is truth. Equip yourself now to grow in discernment so that you can protect yourself from error and remain steadfast in your faith!
Jenny had the opportunity to sit down with him at this year’s NRB - the National Religious Broadcasters Convention. The audio has some distorted areas due to where we were recording, but this interview was far too important not to hear. -
