Chapter 19:• Excerpt: fliers should keep their gem next to their heart or else downfall• Riot of 8, halden got Mira to go with, they leave andarna in samara. • 12 hrs until she feela pain from being away from andarna, makes sense riders would die being gone too long from dragons just like Barlowe and channeling from the ground• Tairn doesn't listen to Grady lol, wielding in drained territory draws venin, mira think grady is trying to fail the mission• Officers go in the house, Aura and Vi stay out, aura panicks when xaden pops out and torches Grady π, town on fire, begs him to stop putting out the fire • Wyvern takes out Aura • Xaden grabs violet, wrapped in shadows, tairn grabs them, violet worried to wield, tairn corrects xaden has been closer while she wields π• They make it back to samara, mira did get the stone (cracked and hazy) a note to the lightning wielder from theophanie • Theophanie knew, (Xaden doesnt know how to block the venin??)Chapter 20:• Vi researching devereli, no answers from barlowe, and the manuscript • Violet has an inkling about her dads hypothesis and not telling us!• Ridoc wants to go, sawyer has a metal prosthetic leg and joining classes• Ridoc froze the inside of the orange• Drake, Cat's cousin, at the meeting, mira missing.• Violet a bad ass bitch!! Daaaaaaammmnnn• Demands to choose her squad, puts Markum in his place as he wants to search aretia, tells ateos she speaks for the empyrean• Halden impressed lol • Xaden has been given many proposals • At the end, violet gets her way and she is impressed ridoc didn't make any remarks, "i kept the inside thoughts inside"• Mira punches Drake in the nuts π and she calls out the absurdity of the squad, tairn agrees

• He talks about no being enough for her because he shouldn't touch her, she wants whatever he can give her :(
• They all have second signets??????? Would that mean xaden has triple lol
• Ends with her sharing the venin can wield lightning and trails off that she tells him everything that happened
• Letter from Garrick to Imogen but it's really xaden to violet
• Xaden slipped to protect civilians
• Grady doesn't know what to do, has his dragon interrogate andarna, doesn't go well
• HEATON IS ALIVE!
• Jack looks like garbage, offers him an embued medallion, they can sense each other
• He can feel her pain left in the cell

Chapter 13
• Excerpt: jesinia failed 3 exams?!?! And transfered to Pr Grady
• Sawyer got dressed up, a haircut, and a "godsawful hunk of wood" to his leg before seeing jesinia π literally cried
• Ridoc bedhops like a frog π€£ ridoc mocks Violet and Xaden fighting
• Ridoc signs to jesinia that he is wants on the quest squad, she asks if an ice wielder is even needed.
• Sawyer signs he wanted to be there, Oh my god they are so freaking cute pg 113
• Many missing papers in the archives, sounds like they will be leaving the continent, and they just remembered her father's research and need Dain to betray his father.
• Confirmed sage and maven can wield signets
• Their no longer allowed to kill each on the mat, xaden teaching signet sparring can no longer bang π€£
Chapter 14
• Tell Rhi the complications of xaden teaching, Vi finds Dain, asks him for help to steal the research, Xaden and Kaori walk in on them talking π±
• VI says yes they broke up and Xaden says no
• Aetos denies exemption request, xaden says they can be sneaky, Dain walks her to class
• Xaden argues with grady, xaden and Vi mentally flirt and he uses his shadows lol
• Violet wants to go south but Grady decides north
Chapter 15:
• Signet sparring class begins, flirty thoughts, xaden been hiding in the warded pit.
• No records of a dragon torching a venin, they're going to take sawyer put for the weekend and xaden doesn't want to go
• Xaden spars a metallurgist, sawyer doesn't want to be apart of classes yet, bad ass fight, keeps eye contact with Violet while fighting
• He fights everyone, one by one
• Trager says to cat it seems like a waste of time to chase someone who doesn't want you when there are plenty of people who do π±π
• Ends with it being violets turn -

• Ridoc gives sawyer a pep talk, tairn tells vi she has the full support of the aretian riot... only
• Mira one of the guards π¬, mentions treason, maren shocked, Imogen bumps her with her elbow
• Brennan's there, she remembers her mom says she will be with him soon
• Process of elimination method?!
• Maren can wield but no one knows about Barlowe.
• In the battle room, treaty signed, nobles back to negotiating nor that Maren told her uncle, Dain still wing leader of Fourth Wing
• Col Aetos charges violet with treason
Chapter 8:
• Excerpt: Everyone wants wisdom but needs luck
• Dain speaks to his dad and he says "i have no son" π’π±
• General Aetos, brought to a room of nobles, and Xaden is there
• They dismiss aetos, wards intact against dark wielders and xaden signed for the riot to stay, violet admits it all.
• Pardons signed AFTER she took down the ward.
• Queen maraya (of poromiel), Violet deal to protect fliers in exchange to access to tecarus's library, offers Violet her library
• Aetos pissy with violet, Brennan surprises him, violet throws it in his face she is too badass for him to π
• Aetos sends Rhiannon's squad to two days at Samara
Chapter 9:
• They show up exhausted to Samara, battle over, leader asks tairn to keep hidden
• Shocking nightmare of losing the painting of her family, Everyone in Xaden's in room, recalls telling Cat she must live because she is going to be the queen of Tyrrendor?????? Marens dream?
• Venin attack a small village of maren's family, they are headed to save the people.
Chapter 10:
• Excerpt: without someone wielding weather you are at its mercy
• Tairns power deeper out of the wards, they were caught leaving lol
• Violet points out what's ahead, tairn says "yes I too have eyes" π€£
• Town on fire, wyvern, warns her not to channel more than she can hold.
• She aims!!, wyvern fast, tairns threatens her if she unseats, spots the Silvered haired venin, waves at Violet, a trap
• A dragon tornado?! She is shocked Garrick is there? Was he not invited lol
• They fall
• Xaden sent Garrick, Garrick worried about xaden because he lost it which was unusual. π’
• Silvered hair venin used lightning?!?
• Garrick is a wind wielder but not against a tornado
• Venin not supposed to have signets
• Marens parents dead, venin lifts Garrick.
• Theophanie , says she knows everything about Violet, asks who bonded her first. -

• Xaden takes them all out with shadows,"why is it always you?"
• Barlowe has drained the cell, if he has nothing to pull he'll be dead within the week?!
• Vi and Xaden alone, fear of him being alone with her, no red eyes, he let's her in, he wielded beyond the wards but only with Sgaeyl's power

Chapter 3:

• Violet's not scared but he thinks she should be, alone time up
• Private meeting, violet assigned to a task force to find 7th breed, captain Grady leading
• Negotiating where to place the fliers
• Back in the bedroom, they slept on and start to bang one out.
• When she came, she was pulling at their bond and he pulled away.
• He lost control and started to channel from the headboard π±
Chapter 4:
• They talk about what happened, violet hasn't told Xaden her next mission
• Brennan interrupted, how many people are out there*
• Garrick slept with a flier, Imogen insults him, he asks if she is jealous
• Brennan there for xaden for patrol, Mira arrived and brought violet a conduit, wooden disc for practice? Warmth, levitation, and sound warding
• Brennan negotiating for the fliers, fliers with the 1st years, mira finds out about andarna adventure

Chapter 5:

• War begins, violet takes out multiple wyvern, bad ass fight, tairn is incredible
• Young Asim venin, "you'll meet them all soon", Rhiannon lands on Tairn
Chapter 62:
• Violet saves Rhiannon saves Violet, rhi jumps back to her dragon, melgren 10 minds out, venin waiting for a second wave
• Sawyer loses part of his leg
• Tairn catches Violet and sawyer as they free falled lol, ward stone mended
• Cat takes sawyer to the healers, Cat compliments Violet, "you would've done the same", "i would've ran faster" π€£, gives her a dagger
• Venin arrives and excited to deliver Violet to Him, Cat heightening Venin's emotions(wants to be more than and Asim), Violet strikes her
• Another arrives and suspends violet
Chapter 63:
• Andarna torches the Venin's face π€―π
• Cat spoke to Andarna, Andarna snaps, Violet realizing her scales are different
• jesinia found the only difference is a 7
• Big meeting, ward stone mended, Lilith disagrees with Violets plan while the sage is above(?)

• Andarna killed Solas and she earned her scorpiontail
• Back in Aretia, Xadens upset she risked her life for Cat being 3rd in line
Chapter 55:
• He starts the convo about mom deal and their communication
• Confirmed that yup he didn't want to give her information she wasn't ready for, and let her take down her walls.
• She calls him out for saying he won't be entirely truthful with her. Not wrong π
• She did ask about the scars last year, he says he can't change the past, he calls her out for not forgiving him yet.
• She questions how much else there could be(great question)
• She calls him out for him making her ask questions but he wants her to demand it since she is too scared to get answers she doesn't like.

Chapter 49:
• Give patches to flyers, Violet welcomes Cat and fliers to Iron squad, Violet thanks her for teaching xaden the trick, Imogen cackles.
• Ridoc is hilarious

(If I was Rhi, I would be hurt, confused, and jealous of Imogen).β’ Back in battle brief, Rhi points out the run and Vi still awkward.β’ Pr. Devera went into service and has a scar, Col. Markum knows the truth but shares of a high altitude gryphon attack. β’ Tarin getting pissy and tells her to shield.β’ Athbyne Outpost emptied for war games, then an attack, how would gryphons know this, also preomish unrest occurring.β’ Rhiannon suspicious of the healer Quadrant, Rhi and Violet kind of work things out.β’ Nadine "poses" as violet and assasinated.

Chapter 2:
• Original hatching grounds near Riorson house.
• Brennan and Violet talk about how he's alive, and she wonders to herself if Naolin is more than just Tarin's previous rider to Brennan.
• Their dragons are in the valley near by, xaden guarding andarna.
• Venin coming from the baron's, draining the lands of magic, going city to city.
• This is the moment she reflects on the wyvern details in the fables, they are made by venin.
• Venin not attacking because they think they are victims, attacking for more power from the ground.
• The alloy used to kill venin is the same used to extend their wards. Like wifi extension.
• Scribes withholding information.
• Talk of another ward stone, others think the luminary for melting alloy for weapons is better than building wards.

• Why does sgaeyl not like Brennan, ever??
• Find out Andarna grew and no longer golden.
• Brennan doesn't think their mom is too be trusted, but others point out mom wasn't there when orders were given for the games.
• Andarna wakes, she's crabby, is she bitter?, "can you carry her", tarin deeply offended lol
Chapter 3:
• Dragons only first bonded to pretext their hatchlings, sneak into basgiath, xaden on thin ice, talk about her shielding Dain.
• Violet grabs liam's letters, asks Rhiannon to hide them.
• Talk about how can xaden lie to the ones he cares about, says he has never lied to her and she needs to master the art of selective truths for their safety.
• Xaden has known Brennan since his death, he answered truthfully when she asked.
• XADEN YOU'RE PISSING ME OFF,
• Little did you know xaden....Jesinia documented what you said
• she points out how he would tell her anything she wants to know and anything you don't, he said only in regards to him π‘.
• Says he will always have secrets but wants her to ask anything about him, violet points out how everyone and everything around her is a lie.
• She threatens to un- fall in love with him if she doesn't get full and total honesty. I agree with both of them :(
• Names read off the death roll. -

Who is xaden if he was in our world?
The guy who always stands up for you, to his mom, to his friends, would to your own mom.
The guy who goes out of his way for the young or elderly.
The guy who quits hanging out with guy friends because he just wants to hang out with you so you have to make him spend time with his friends.
The guy who will punch someone in the face who touched you and made you feel like a whore you while you're out with friends.
Chapter 9 Xaden POV:
• Sparing between xaden and violet.
• Wait a minute xaden, I thought you loved her at first sight, why are you considering the consequences of killing her???
• Turned on by how brilliant she is.
• Calls her Violence, thinks about how she needs better fitting daggers.
• This chapter seems more like when he fell for her.
• Violet catches him off guard, sgaeyl doesn't like how violet brings his guard down.
• Sexual position and tension π completely professional to outsiders.
• Yup this is definitely when he falls for her.
• Dain startled him and he's reminded others can see them.
• Garrick makes fun of him.
Chapter 16 Xaden POV:
• Post threshing when Dain is talking to Violet.
• Xaden notices the grip Dain has on her.
• Sgaeyl is gentle with Xaden each time, unexpected.
• Xaden tries masking and over compensates by being aggressive/emotional.
• Brings up the moment of the field as "Maybe I'll kill her or maybe i won't, to protect her at all costs".
• Calls out Dain that he wouldn't protect violet.
• Sgaeyl calls out Xaden that of not for Tarin, Dain would be right.
• They talk about them being tied together and risks with that.
• Xaden wants to kiss her in between their serious talk.
• Love sgaeyl's smooth sarcasm.
• If tarin is 100 and he's 50yrs older than sgaeyl and she bonded his grandpa, the. She was pretty young when she first bond right?
• They are all bonded together, assigns Liam to protect her.
• Garrick makes fun of his crush and that Liam won't bang her and eases his worries of Dain unlacing her leathers, both frozen when they kiss.
• "He has his lips on my violence....well not mine" lol
• Shadows rises around him, garrick and sgaeyl laughing at him. -

• Venin on tarin, feels taunted by something she is missing but she has the answer on the tip of her tongue, venin adapts to her moves quickly, broken arm, stabbed.
• They want to take her power.
• Xaden trusts her to remove shadows, vi misses again and again, close to burn out.
• Tarin will not watch another rider die from not knowing their limitations.
• Says she knows her limit, but admits she has taken too much power lol.
• Uses andarna (sign that she is right she can take on more than naolin), precision strike.
• Even at her greatest fatigue, and near death, she thirsts watching xaden, and she falls.
Chapter 38:
• Andarna catches her, using the last of her power.
• Fear in xaden's eyes, she passes out, black blood.
• Taking her to "someone".
• When she wakes again, she thinks "i don't want him dead, I'll never want that" π
• Tarin crying
• Xaden kisses her forehead, she's confused bc you don't keep secrets from someone you care about.
• Xaden "you can hate me when you wake but you have to live. You can't make me fall for you and then die. Nothing is worth it without you" -

• Xaden says he can wield shadows to save him if he falls.
• Confesses her love, confesses her jealousy, xaden only has eyes for violet π
• Fell for her the first time he saw her.
• He's so possessive! He's jealous of Dain.
• She's very confident and forward, talk about threshing.
• Says she's in love with him.
• Xβ‘οΈ
• I'm going to die right here in this bed. "Then I'm going to die with you".
• He can shield her lightning.
Chapter 33:
• Head to formation wearing his flight leathers, no one "notices" When she leaves his room, feigns shock.
• War games beginning.
• They are going to athebyne.
• Heaton has purple flames dyed into their hair.
• Xaden and Imogen know something is up.
• Xaden pulls violet, Liam and Imogen to his squad to athebyne.
• Dain realizes they are banging.
• "I'll miss you violet"
• If xaden knows something is up, why bring violet?
Chapter 34:
First gryphon attack is 1 yr after reunification
• Fly into the morning and afternoon to Mt near athebyne.
• Most dangerous outpost, outside the wards.
• Liam asks how she's doing, mentally talks to andarna and tarin about her safety, while Liam waits, does it again but thinking with Xaden π
• Sees xaden, "just be professional".
• Walks to the lake, Xaden openly shows her affection.
• She has tense muscles, so he eats her out to relax her(not actually), wing beats in her ears.
• "I've been yours longer than you can imagine", longer than when he first saw her?
• Cat arrives π³, covers her in shadows but Cat saw(?) :(((((
• Xaden blocks Violet, tarin protects her, her heart stops when he says the fliers are early.
Chapter 35:
• Excerpt: talks about Fen Riorson's accusation/conspiracy as so outrageous that it won't be written.
• Meant to meet tomorrow, shipment not ready, tarin not acting like he knows what's going on(very particular with his words).
• Venin never come this far west -Imogen
• Fliers threaten to use her as ransom, "take a step towards that sorrengail and you'll be deâd", reference to Brennan too?
• Tarin and Andarna knew.
• Long discussion of her feeling betrayed, realizing it's all true, and saying she doesn't love xaden.
• Reflects on history being erased.
• "If I can't trust him, there is no future for us"
