Do you have something you love in your life? You know, something that fills you with a sense of purpose, lets "you" fade into the background a bit as the thing you love takes over, makes you feel you're headed in the right direction, and helps you deflect the slings and arrows of daily life a bit more easily?
In "Whatchu Love?" I ask people three questions:
1. Whatchu love?
2. How'd you find it?
3. How do you keep it in your daily life?
The answers are inspiring and provide insight into the nature of a loved, lived life. Common to most is a deep commitment to willfully embracing the sorrow and joy one encounters when living with purpose.
"To be, or not to be."
In Whatchu Love? I change that question.
"To love, or not to love."
Perhaps that's what Shakespeare meant all along.
I hope you enjoy this conversation with award-winning comic creator, Joshua Grant!

Did you watch Netflix's "Alice in Borderland" or read the manga?
We did, and we LOVED it!
As a matter of fact, this is our THIRD conversation about this amazing story!
J. Scott Jordan (aka Zombie Scotty), Rio Shigeta, Lorran Garrison, Marissa Jordan-Lenz, and Julius Vladimir Francisco continue their proper, after-dinner (it was, again, pre-breakfast), no-holds-barred, conversation about the ping-pong match this story plays with your mind? Is it good? Is it bad? Who knows! What we do know is that we LOVED the conversation.
If you have questions, or there are points you'd like us to discuss, send an email to [email protected].
We'll be sure to read it during our next discussion!

In this interview, I asked #cosplayers at FAN EXPO Portland three questions: (1) Why do you love cosplay? (2) How did you find it? and (3) How do you keep it in your daily life?
Sam (aka Aizawa), Scott (the Jawa), Mood (aka Wednesday), Zack (aka Hidan), and Kelsey (aka Sexy Gandalf) were simply amazing!
Their answers were inspiring, full of love, and indicative of the open, inclusive, and diverse culture cosplay truly is.
Special thanks to my dear friend, Dr. Vanessa Hintz for all of her help with the podcast, and the folks at FanExpo for giving me the opportunity.
Remember, cosplay is for everyone!
In my more philosophical moments, I'd say something like, "Life is cosplay. BE who you want to be."
Live to remember!
