So many of us try to be like celebrities, athletes, or influencers, thinking it'll make us feel better. But their lives are unique.
Be cautious about who you follow. Understand that what works for one person might not work for you. Take responsibility for your actions. Stop looking for answers from others. Figure out what works for you and stick with it. Don’t waste time trying to be like others who have different resources and lifestyles. Remember their concern is not you. -
I want to talk about addiction, specifically my sex addiction, and my struggle to be honest about it. In the last couple of months, dealing with my mom's passing, my sex addiction resurfaced. I spent hours on websites and apps, seeking validation from strangers. It took me a while to realize I was wasting time and money, and the people I interacted with didn't care about me.
Addiction isn't just about the act; it's about numbing pain, seeking gratification, and dealing with loneliness. I recognized my behavior patterns and took steps to stop, like deleting apps and managing my time better. It's crucial to understand how our actions affect others and ourselves.
We often seek validation from strangers, but real connections come from those who truly know and love us. It’s important to find healthy ways to cope and not let addiction define us.#addictionrecovery #personalgrowth #mentalhealth #selfawareness #healingjourney #sexaddiction

Since 2015, I've had my fair share of amazing and also detrimental experiences with dating apps, and I've learned some invaluable lessons about myself and the dark side of dating apps. From a close friend's costly encounter with an escort to my own downward spiral of self-esteem and self love to extreme financial losses, the hidden dangers of online dating need to be talked about. Online dating is an extreme journey through the abyss of human connection. Dating apps can and are a double-edged sword. They offer convenience and connection but also pose risks of deception and emotional turmoil. My journey is a testament to the need for vigilance, realistic expectations, and self-care in digital dating. True connections go beyond screens and profiles. Stay smart, stay safe, and take care of your mental health. As always, remember that you're not alone in your journey. Our community is here to provide support every step of the way. Today, I find myself reflecting on the challenges our kids face—drug addiction, mental health issues, social media and peer pressure, and the solutions to these often start within the family.I'm dismayed by the role of family involvement and the lack of schools teaching life skills. It's heartbreaking to think about the struggles kids endure, from learning disabilities to hunger and homelessness as well as emotional and physical abuse. The generational nature of problems like depression and addiction makes breaking these cycles the main priority to help all of these children. I believe mental health issues should be addressed openly in schools, with programs for both the students and parents led by qualified professionals. Parents suffer through depression and anxiety and their work often plays a factor in their inability to help their children when needed. Many children do not have the proper nutrition and access to food at home, and schools need to do a better job of providing to those in need. If a family member turns to medication to soothe their own emotional issues, they are the mirror for the child, and that is not acceptable.I’m convinced we need better family support, comprehensive mental health education, and qualified help to truly make a difference. If you have thoughts or questions, feel free to text or call. Let’s come together and give you the support to help yourself and your kids to make a change. As always, remember that you're not alone in your journey. Transitioning from his previous platform to his current solo venture felt like an impossible navigation. There were underlying issues bubbling up and tensions simmering beneath the surface. Despite his aim to handle the situation with maturity, the reality is that it took a toll on his mental health.During our conversation, Preston opened up about moments where the weight of it all nearly crushed him, physically. This is not an exaggeration. Our producer, Mark, witnessed firsthand how close Preston came to reaching his breaking point. It served as a wake-up call, reminding us that clinging to stress and strain can lead straight to the hospital.Recognizing the danger, Preston made a conscious decision to let go. It wasn't easy, especially for someone who has always been a giver like Preston. However, he came to the realization that holding onto things that didn't serve him put his well-being at risk. And that's a compromise he's no longer willing to make.As always, remember that you're not alone in your journey. Our community is here to provide support every step of the way. Grief and loss play an incredible role in the mental health of us all as we age. We inevitably experience the loss of loved ones, friends, and aspects of our own health and vitality, often not recognizing ourselves from who we used to be. These losses can trigger feelings of profound sadness, loneliness, and even depression. For many of us, grief can become a constant companion, as we grapple with the passing of peers and loved ones. The effect of multiple losses over time takes a toll on our mental well-being, leading to feelings of isolation, purposelessness, and existential angst. It's important for older adults to acknowledge and process their grief in healthy ways, whether through therapy, support groups, or creative outlets. By honoring their losses and finding meaningful ways to remember and cherish those they've lost, we can live through that grief and find comfort and peace as we age.

As someone who constantly battles with sex addiction on a daily basis, I understand the stigma and misconceptions that surround it. It's not about the constant physical gratification at all; it's about the emotional and physical toll it takes on those of us who deal with this addiction, the relationships it destroys and damages, and the devastating outcome on our mental well-being.
I'm here to share my personal journey, from early encounters with pornography to the numbing effects of addiction. It's not easy to admit the mistakes, the loneliness, and the self-destructive patterns that come with it, but it's essential to break the silence and shed light on the reality many face.

Daily I have extreme struggles I face with my mental health issues.
I'll be transparent & honest with you – it's extremely tough every day that God allows me to be in this earth. Loneliness hits me like Muhammad Ali hitting a punching bag. The constant negative repetitive thoughts of “Am I lovable?”, “Am I worth this gift of life” creep into my psyche everyday. The loss of my mother made me realize how difficult it is to move on, and sometimes, I wonder if anyone would even notice if I were gone.
The years have been filled with nightmares, panic attacks, and questioning whether I'll ever find true happiness or true love. It's so physically and emotionally exhausting, and many times I am paralyzed for hours, emotionally & physically. The loss of feeling in my hands and arms from years of foolish behavior, remind me daily of the extreme emotional pain that can never be overcome.
But as I sit in the emotional and physical darkness, I've learned the importance of reaching out for help. Whether it's talking to a therapist, confiding in people I trust, it’s very important to mine and your recovery process.
So I know you are struggling just like me & I know that you're not alone. The global silence surrounding mental illness is deafening but I hope to build a community of understanding and global support.
Thank you for joining me as I navigate the complexities of my mind and strive to find peace and purpose amidst the chaos.
