Well the time has (sort of) come, we call a hiatus on the pod after 9 glorious years of mostly bullshit and indefensible positions about Madame Web not looking "that bad". We're taking some time away to reset and potentially plan a few theme months which aren't just riffs on Shrektember. We thank you all for being on this journey with us so far and implore you to stick around as we will be back in due course, we just can't give you a timeframe for that just yet, that's all.
Stay subscribed and keep buying yoghurt. -
I don't even know what to say about this one, I guess Andy is cool and funny and I'm just an old stick in the mud.

Whoooosh!
Welcome to the thrilling conclusion of Feb-weather-uary, where we discuss the 1996 blockbuster 'Twister' in anticipation of the upcoming legacy sequel 'Twisters', we discuss what we like and what we don't like about the original as well as proposing what could possibly happen in the sequel and whether it's going to be a redo of Top Gun Maverick with no Tom Cruise.
Watch out for that cow guys! -
Welcome to Febweatheruary, the shortest (and stormiest) month of the year!
We kick off this month of weather based movie content with a whistlestop tour through a bunch of big weather based disaster movies and give our opinions of how we think we would be best equipped to survive the events within.
True insane energy to this episode so strap in! -
Well well well, look what we have here...
It's a bumper edition of News & Reviews with Even More Alex (TM), we bring you an almighty 8 reviews this week with Alex responsible for 7 of them solo. Andy's on his armistice (more on that in episode) and therefore the balance is shifted to mostly Alex with reviews of... ghost story romance 'All Of Us Strangers', powerful drama 'The Zone of Interest', Oscar hopeful 'The Holdovers', satire 'American Fiction', science fiction black comedy 'Poor Things', 'Samsara' a meditation on life, death and new life, deadpan supernatural comedy 'The Civil Dead' & the DCEU's unflushable shit 'Aquaman 2' -
Coming a week later than originally planned and in a much truncated format, it's the annual Dinosaur Man awards for the films of 2023!
We dish out an apology and then summarise why we didn't release this episode on time. Andy and Alex spend a little while talking about which films went home with our big prizes when we got together with Paul last weekend. -
As is now tradition, we return to action with an early episode for this year being the annual Dinosaur Man Draft! We find out how well our picks from last year performed before selecting our choices for the forthcoming year. This episode has it all, indefinite delays, Madame Web blind faith, a discussion of which animated fourquel will perform best and much much more!
Join in with the fun and select your choices for the upcoming critical and or commercial successes in this new year of movie making! -
Alex is sick so its the perfect time for Andy to hand out his awards for games he has played this year. Are they games that came out in 2023? Mostly no. But did Andy play them in 2023? Yes.
So come see if you agree with the winners of such awards as "The Game I'm Definitely Coming Back To This Year"
Let us know on Twitter/X what wins your game of the year @DinosaurMan15 -
It's that most wonderful time of the year where we bring you a bumper review show packed full of all the releases we've caught during our winter break.

Well this is Christmas... eve. We made it folks, another year down and we bring you a little stocking stuffer ahead of the new year starting.
Andy puts to Alex the ultimate question, how would you survive the events of 'The Santa Clause'? If you're expecting a food heavy answer you're in luck! We bring you this final grab bag of nonsense before the last episode of 2023 next week.
Happy holidays from the DinosaurMen to you and yours. -
Tragic news everyone! Netflix decided to cut back on the amount of festive nonsense they were pumping out this year. So we've expanded out our usual format to other streamers this year.
After the rip roaring success of our 3 previous deep dives into the world of Netflix original Christmas movies we return with a look into this years line up from Netflix, Disney and Amazon. We get into the ins and outs of three entries.
'Best. Christmas. Ever!', 'Dashing Through The Snow' and 'Candy Cane Lane' are the subjects this year. Unfortunately none of them are musicals but we live and learn, however there are always Christmas songs to be sung and Eggnog to be drunk, not to mention morals to impart!
Do they make us feel Christmas? Did Alex cry? Are Christmas films getting worse? Find out right here! -
In our final News & Reviews of the year we have a trinity of films to discuss to see us through to 2024. With some festive episodes coming up, may we interest you in some less seasonal offerings?
We have high school comedy 'Bottoms', Eli Roth slasher 'Thanksgiving' & single location thriller 'Night of the Hunted' -
We return and welcome in the Christmas season with this collection of festive stories to bring you yuletide cheer. Alex and Andy share stories, jokes & food items all to do with the holiday season.
-
We see out November with another thrilling episode of News & Reviews, where poor financial decisions, the quality of trailers and Star Wars being over are discussed.
We also bring reviews of some of the big releases of recent weeks. Superhero sequel 'The Marvels', Argentine horror 'When Evil Lurks', graphic novel adaptation 'The Killer', quiet drama 'Fremont' & Russell Crowe accent showcase 'The Pope's Exorcist' are all on the board this week. -
Well, not gonna lie, this isn't the podcast you deserve. But it is the podcast you're going to get unfortunately. So I guess we're sorry? Well I am, but Andy probably isn't...yet.
-
Welcome back my friends to your 41st favourite podcast, we're into a brand new theme month and some people are saying it's our best one yet! We enter into All Nut November, a month of nut centric episodes which will delight and amaze.
We begin with a nutty quiz, Andy takes the role of quizmaster and grills Alex on some brain teasers. It's great! -
What a spooky crop of movies we have for you at the tail end of Halloween season! Amazon Prime's 60's corn horror 'Dark Harvest', video game sensation 'Five Nights At Freddy's' & nothing spookier than sleep in A24's 'Dream Scenario'.
-
Well well well, no one can say they predicted this. We made it to a half millenium of episodes, if that's even a thing.
We celebrate in the only way we know how, by doing a watchalong of an old favourite 'The Deaths of Ian Stone'. -
In this weeks episode Alex has returned back from travels in America and lets us know about his adventures including visiting a drive in cinema and an awkward conversation in a diner.
In terms of reviews this week we have old actor action with Expend4bles and gritty revenge action Sisu. Andy also tries out a new game and it doesn't land spectacularly.
If you're enjoying the show don't forget to subscribe and rate it 5 stars to help us get seen by more eyes.
