Mads and Laura discuss the good and the not-so-well-executed parts of the latest episode. Like how the police can't solve a case. Or how Hen and Karen are walking a thin line with Mara. Or the mess that is Eddie. Check it out for our full thoughts.
-
As previously mentioned, Laura and Mads love when 9-1-1 focuses on one specific character to drive the narrative of an episode. "There Goes the Groom" is a perfect example of this. Listen as we get emotional talking about Chim's journey to his wedding ceremony.
-
Buck starts to come out to a few of his family and friends. How did we feel about the handling of these conversations? Tune in to find out! Mads and Laura discuss why they loved the episode but still felt some areas were lacking.

-
Mads and Laura discuss what works and what doesn't about the 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star finales.
-
Laura and Mads feel as though both 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star need to work on a few things to truly be great, but that these episodes weren't the worst ones. It'd be nice if we knew going into the finale what the purpose of Eddie and Buck's separate dating stories all season have been for -- especially since none have panned out in the long run. Chim and Maddie have the proposal they deserve. And once again, a Strand storyline has us scratching our heads. Listen for more.
-
Once again, Lone Star coming in with a shockingly good episode. We love a strong Grace moment and for this episode she WAS the moment. 9-1-1 seems to have forgotten the fundamentals of who Hen and Chim are to each other, but we won't hold it against them -- too much.
-
While neither episode was terrible, there were definitely issues with each on that Laura and Mads can't ignore. Overall, both episodes were a fun time which is a rarity with the franchise.
-
For the first time in a while, Lone Star didn't make Owen an insufferable addition to the story, in fact, his story was fun and engaging. Laura and Mads break down the rest of the episode and discuss how frustrating it was that both episodes contained unsolicited singing.
-
Laura once again didn't have time or energy to watch Lone Star, but all is not lost because Mads did all the grunt work. Meanwhile, on 9-1-1 Buddie is making it very hard to focus on anything else.
-
Mads and Laura break down Lone Star from the last two weeks. Overall they enjoyed the episodes but still had some issues with each one. Did you prefer the Owen is a gigolo episode or the Marvin/Mateo episode?
-
Laura and Mads go feral over ONE scene with Buck and Eddie while also discussing the dismay they feel about Bobby's stories always being about addiction. Meanwhile, on Lone Star, Marjan fights for her life which makes for some great moments and ONE very FRUSTRATING detail mixup.
-
We started our discussion with 9-1-1 Lone Star because 9-1-1 was so good we wanted to focus most of our time on that episode. Laura and Mads have some strong opinions about where the story of Buck is going. If only we could say the same about whatever this episode of Lone Star was.
-
Kat joins Mads and Laura to discuss her interview with Oliver Stark and that intense Season 6 mid-season opener. Mads and Laura then discuss the beauty of Lone Star when Owen isn't the focus at all.
-
Mads and Laura discuss the highest-rated -- by them -- episode this season. Was the twist a decent plot device? Why does Owen insist on doing these speeches? And how do we feel about Minear's comments regarding the last couple of episodes?
