Joining me this week on the Eb n Flow podcast is the lovely Paula Day. Paula is a proud mother to 5 children, an entrepreneur and money mindset coach who supports female entrepreneurs to scale their businesses and create a life of financial freedom and wealth. The intriguing and inspiring part of Paula’s story is that she knows firsthand what it’s like to have the rug pulled from under her, and the reality of having to rebuild hers and her children’s lives after an unforeseeable relationship breakdown that left her bank accounts drained and in a state of financial uncertainty.
It was through Paula’s sheer determination and will that she was able to outsource coaches for support, and within the space of seven short months she was able to not only financially rebuild her life, but also leave the corporate world and begin her own coaching business. This episode will inspire you to step out of your comfort zone, stop making excuses and follow your dreams. Enjoy! X

On this weeks episode of the Eb n Flow podcast, i am so excited to be sharing this incredible interview with you all featuring the inspiring Tangaroa Jackson.
Tangaroa is the true epitome of human resilience and embodies the strength and courage of a warrior. In this conversation, he courageously takes us through his childhood experience with complex trauma and early exposure to illicit drugs. He shares with us the horrific reality of smoking Marijuana at the age of 5 and finding himself addicted to Methamphetamine in his late teens.
Tangaroa‘s story follows a very common thread of neglect and trauma that is often seen in many households throughout New Zealand and within the Polynesian/Māori community. He touches on the normalisation of substance use within his community and intergenerational cycles that continued. As complex and challenging as Tangaroa’s experience has been. He has taken his cane and chosen to rise to the occasion and break those intergenerational cycles himself, celebrating almost 6 years of being clean off Methamphetamine.
Tangaroa is the true representation of an anomaly and somebody who has fought with every fibre in his being to be here today. It is such an honour to have him share his journey and how he continues to grow and change, despite the challenges he has been through. I hope you all enjoy this wonderful episode. -

On this weeks episode of the Eb n Flow podcast, Ebony is joined in the studio by the lovely Rochelle Bishop. Rochelle is a digital creator, social media influencer and proud mother to 6. Who uses her social media platform to showcase her lifestyle, whilst also giving a raw and real account of motherhood.
In light of her most recent experience navigating the horrors of online predators and their exploitation of children, she joins us today to discuss her own personal experience navigating this within her family.
Whilst also highlighting the lessons she has learnt and measures she has now taken to ensure the safety of her children. As our dependency on devices grows, so does the rates of online child exploitation and grooming.
According to the ACCCE in 2021 alone there was over 33,000 reports made to the ACCCE triage regarding online exploitation and grooming of children.
So how do we keep our children safe when so much of our daily lives revolves around devices and easy access to the Internet?
This episode aims to give you an insight in to the reality of how common online predators are. As well as touching on ways in which we can educate ourselves and educate our children on the safe use of our devices.
This is a must listen for all parents and adults in general. It is up to us to open these conversations and speak about this so we can keep our children safe.

On this week episode of the Eb n Flow podcast, Ebony is back with another story time. So buckle up and get your popcorn ready, because this one is a goodie.
In this chat Ebony will take you through her experience with organised religion and describes a time when a church leader requested her to promise her virginity to Jesus by signing a petition saying that she would not lose her virginity until marriage.
As frightening and archaic as many of these extreme religious projections can be, this episode aims to share the reality of the experiences. Whilst also providing a new perspective shifting the narrative from, you shall not have sex before marriage to emphasising the importance of consensual sex and feeling safe in your body and with your intimate partner.
In general society there can be so much focus on how many sexual partners one has had. Whilst rarely ever focusing on feeling safe and comfortable in those intimate experiences. It’s really time to shift the narrative and change the conversation. Lifting the vale of shame that so many feel when it comes to intimacy and sex.

In today’s episode Ebony discusses the complex and sometimes shameful feeling of envy. It is generally a lot easier for us to acknowledge when somebody else has projected their unmanaged feelings of envy onto us, then it is for us to identify when we have felt envious of another person.
This is purely because the feeling of envy has very much been shamed and seen as taboo. Often making us feel uncomfortable and guilty for feeling a very normal and human emotion.
In this chat Ebony discusses how to productively move through your own feelings of envy when they arise, and the difference between envy and jealousy as well as unpacking how to deal with people in your life that may project there unmanaged feelings of envy on to you. Making you feel guilty for succeeding and like you have to dim your light to make them feel more comfortable.
Envy is a complex emotion that we have all experienced in someway or another. Let’s unpack how we can better manage this feeling, so we can find more fulfilment and peace within our lives.

On this weeks episode of the podcast Talia and Ebony sit down with the wonderful Cam McKinnon to discuss his first hand experience with losing a loved one to suicide.
During early 2020 when Australia was in the very beginning stages of Covid restrictions Cam received devastating news that altered his reality forever.
Cam candidly discusses everything from the moment he found out his brother was missing, to the challenges of navigating the loss of a loved one to suicide. Despite the devastating loss of Cam‘s brother Scott, Cam has courageously chosen to support himself and others with their mental health journeys, in hopes of bringing more awareness to suicide and suicide prevention.
Every day in Australia 9 people lose their lives to suicide and 7 out of the 9 are male. Statistics show that males can often struggle with regulating their mental health due to societies conditioning around males bottling up their emotions and not being able to express themselves.
