The Rangers fought hard against a rough and tough Capitals team and came away with the victory! Christine and Liz break down the first round of the playoffs. There were great performances by the players all-around including amazing goaltending, defense, and special teams.
They also talk predictions for round 2, and catch up about where the other teams are in their quest for the Stanley Cup. -

The New York Rangers played the Las Vegas Golden Knights in what turned out to be arguably their worst loss of the season. It didn't get much better in Los Angeles despite the dramatic return of former LA King Jonathan Quick with a 2-1 loss. Thankfully, the Rangers turned things around in the last period of their game against the Anaheim Ducks with a 5-2 win.
Christine and Liz also give a quick PWHL update and ask a few questions about the league. -

Michele, our Florida correspondent-at-large, shares her experience at the New York Rangers vs. Florida Panthers game on December 29. We also discuss the Rangers win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Michele has a drink pairing for the game and also shares her observations on why the Rangers lost to the Panthers, and Christine lets us know about the history that was made by goaltender Jonathan Quick at the game. The Rangers did manage a win against the Tampa Bay Lightning the following night to close out 2023 on a high note.
Matt joins us as well to talk about the New York Rangers upcoming road trip to the west coast and game against the LA Kings. He also gives his insight on how the LA Kings are doing as the year comes to a close. We also discuss the PWHL's opening day scheduled for January 1, 2024.
