Welcome to Episode 53!
This week, Nick and Nathan share their thoughts on the 2024 Nissan Ariya and 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST. Meanwhile, Rush is pleasantly surprised by the 2024 VW Jetta GLI, even going as far as to say he'd take one over an Elantra N or a WRX.
Plus, we finish up the episode by recounting our personal picks for Car of the Year. Nick still maintains the Ioniq 5 N made him cackle the most—and you can probably guess what stole Rush and Nathan's hearts.
Last but not least, this will be our last episode of 2024. Happy Holidays, and see you all next year! -
Welcome to Episode 52!
This week, Nathan returns from South Carolina, where he drove a bunch of new BMWs, including the new X3, a minty fresh first-gen X5, and the new (and slightly contentious) M5.
Meanwhile at home, Nick also spent some time in the new M5. All that and more—Nick's in the 2025 Genesis GV80, and Nathan the 2024 Ford Bronco Everglades—on this week's episode!

Welcome to Episode 51!
This week, Nick talks about a Mercedes with a mouthful of a name: the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E-Performance 4-Door Coupe. It didn't meet his expectations of a modern Mercedes-Benz—and that's kind of a good thing.
Plus, Nathan recounts his weekend with the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, and comes away pleasantly surprised by the refreshingly simple 2024 Nissan Frontier Hardbody Edition.
Oh, and Rush is back in the studio. He hasn't driven anything cool lately, but he stuck around to mess with Nathan and Nick.

Welcome to Episode 50!
This week, Nick and Nathan recount their time with the 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz and the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUT—two new, fully electric vehicles that don't make much sense objectively, but are, subjectively, very cool.
Plus, Nick shares his thoughts on the 2025 Kia K4, and Nathan returns from Quebec, where he spent a few days behind the wheel of the 2025 Nissan Kicks.

Welcome to Episode 49!
This week, Nick and Nathan are coming at you from their mobile recording studio—the 2025 Subaru Forester—mostly because they couldn't find a quiet spot in the office. Nevertheless, it's quite the complement: Subaru has made big strides over the years with overall refinement, and that's very evident in this latest, sixth-gen Forester.
Plus, Nathan is in the 2025 BMW M4 CS. Second laps in press cars don't always end well, but to our surprise, the two-door variant of the M3 CS—with which Nathan fell in love last year—is still as hardcore and engaging as we remember.
And finally, Nick just returned from Nashville, where he checked out the redesigned 2025 Nissan Murano—and got a short stint behind the wheel of the Nissan Z Nismo.

Welcome to Episode 47!
After Jeff talked up the 2024 Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance plug-in hybrid so much last week, we finally get some seat time—and came away feeling not over- or underwhelmed, but simply whelmed.
Plus, Nathan returns from San Diego where he sampled the 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid, gushes about Nick's recent press cars—last week's 2024 Ford Ranger Lariat and this week's 2024 Dodge Durango SRT—and shares his thoughts on the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. Oh, and Rush decided to stick around and hang out.

Welcome to Episode 47!
This week, automotive journalist—and dear friend of ours—Jeff Wilson stopped by the studio and joined Nathan, Nick, and Rush. We chat about the BMW i7 M70, revisit the Nissan Z, say goodbye to the Jaguar F-Pace SVR, and Jeff grills Nathan about his experiences as a not-so-novice rider.

Hear, hear! Episode 46 is here!
This week, Nick recaps his time with the 2025 Infiniti QX80, Imran is in the 2025 Lincoln Nautilus, and Nathan tries to like the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. (Note: we mistakenly stated you can no longer get the Hemi V8 on the Grand Cherokee L; turns out, you still can on the Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve trims.)
Plus, Imran is still smitten with the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT coupe—but isn't quite sure it's the 911 alternative Mercedes wants you to think it is.

Welcome to Episode 45!
It's a slightly different format this week: Nick's out on the west coast for an Infiniti launch, so Nathan and Rush have taken the reigns on the podcast this week.
But they have lots to talk about! They bid farewell to the Lamborghini Huracan, Nathan gets reacquainted with a gem of a Mazda RX-7, and the two are blown away by the top-spec Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate Calligraphy.
Oh, and Nathan got his motorcycle licence earlier this year—so naturally, he started reviewing bikes! He shares his thoughts on a couple of Hondas and a BMW he sampled as a new rider.

We're back! Welcome to Episode 44!
This week, Nathan returns from his travels to LA, bringing us up to speed on Volvo's all-new, all-electric 2025 EX90. Plus, he spent a few extra days there behind the wheel of the refreshed 2025 Aston Martin DBX 707, and had his mind positively blown at the Petersen Automotive Museum in downtown LA.
While Nathan was out, Nick was off in Ann Arbor checking out the 2025 VW Jetta, which sees a handful of tweaks and updates — some good, others not so much — while remaining a ridiculously great value proposition.
And finally, we cap off the episode sharing our thoughts on the 2025 BMW M4 Competition cabrio, as well as Aston's delicious DB12 Volante.

Welcome to Episode 43!
This week, Adi ponders why a base-ish F-150 costs so much, Nick is pleasantly surprised by the WRX GT, and Nathan recounts his (partial) cross-Canada road trip with Toyota.
Plus, Nathan finally gets his rant from last week off his chest: the Toyota GR86 is a certifiably good sports car, but it just can't match the ND Miata's magic.

Good news, everyone! Episode 42 is here!
We're kicking off this week's episode recounting our highlights from the Oblivion Car & Culture show last weekend. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out: this show celebrates not just the cars, but all things 80s and 90s. It's the only place you'll probably see a Ferrari Testarossa sandwiched between a Nissan Stanza and a Dustbuster.
Oh, and we obviously brought a bunch of our own — and our friends' — cool toys from the 80s and 90s.
Plus, Nick is in the short-wheelbase 2024 Range Rover SV this week. It's a positively sumptuous behemoth carrying a $300,000 price tag, but is it really worth it? Nathan and Imran — who recently spent some time with a long-wheelbase Range Rover Autobiography and a Range Rover Sport PHEV, respectively — chime in.

Welcome to Episode 42!
This week, Imran shares his thoughts on two hybrids he drove recently: the 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T PHEV, and the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid. One is far too expensive for its own good, and the other is arguably the sweet spot of the lineup. Care to guess which is which?
Plus, Rush is soaking up the sun this week with the 2024 Jaguar F-Type P575 convertible. Cats really do have nine lives, because Jaguar keeps saying this'll be the "last" F-Type on the local press fleet, but we ain't complaining. A loud V8 and a roof that disappears at the touch of a button is always a recipe for a good time.
As for Nathan ... oh yeah, he couldn't make it this week. So, Adi popped in to try and make sense of Nick's recent obsession with Lexus IS Fs. Is jumping from an E39 M5 to an IS F as a daily driver a downgrade?

Full house this week — and it's a spicy one!
Adi joins the crew this week to have a reasonable and level-headed discussion about the 2024 BMW Z4 M40i — which as we all know, gets an optional six-speed manual this year. Except it's less a level-headed discussion, and more of a heated debate: Nick and Nathan are smitten with this car, but Adi and Imran are fully Team Boxster. That's OK, they're allowed to be wrong.
Not to be overshadowed by the stickshift Bimmer, we also have the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N this week. Colour us shocked: the Ioniq 5 N goes against everything a "car person", yet it's quite possibly the most hilarious and entertaining car we've driven this year.

Welcome to Episode 39!
This week, Imran's back and tells us all about the 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio and the 2024 Toyota GR Corolla.
Plus, Nathan goes bananas over the 2024 Ford Mustang GT with the Performance Package, and Nick — well, his press car was cancelled this week, so he's just...here.

Welcome to Episode 37!
This week, Nathan reviews the 2025 Subaru WRX RS — or TR, if you're tuning in from the good ol' US of A. Depending on what you want out of a sporty small car, this may very well be the best bang for your buck.
Plus, Nick recaps how his week is going so far with the 2024 Vinfast VF8. After a rocky launch — and that's putting it mildly — VinFast has done a good job righting many of the wrongs in the early cars. But some software bits still need some time in the oven.
And finally, Imran's back in the studio! Fresh off driving the refreshed 2024 Range Rover Velar, he has proclaimed himself DoubleClutch.ca's resident Premium Dude.

Welcome to Episode 36!
This week, Nick and Nathan are spending some quality time with a couple of dinosaurs: the 4Runner TRD Pro, and the Ranger Raptor.
Plus, these two Miata apologists nerd out over the tweaks to the 2024 Miata — known as the ND3 in Miata-speak. What better way to see if all these seemingly piecemeal changes make a meaningful difference than going for a back-to-back rip with Nathan's '23 ND?
Here's what we discussed this week:
2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro
2024 Ford Ranger Raptor
2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata

Welcome to Episode 35!
This week, we're kicking things off by welcoming our newest contributor to the team! Everyone, meet Paolo Manalo: he's always well-dressed, he owns the mintiest E39 530i M-Sport, and this week, he shares his thoughts on the freshly redesigned Santa Fe Hybrid.
Plus, we're revisting two familiar cars this week: the still-shockingly-good Prius Prime, and the still-delicous IS 500. Except this time, we can't help but wonder if we were looking back at the IS 500 with rose-tinted glasses. Indeed a conundrum.
Here's what we discussed this week:
Paolo's own toy, a manual-swapped 2003 BMW 530i M-Sport
The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid
The 2024 Toyota Prius Prime
The 2024 Lexus IS 500

It's a full house this week for Episode 34!
The team recently spent some quality time with three new EVs underpinned by GM's new Ultium platform: the Chevy Blazer EV, Cadillac Lyriq, and Honda Prologue. How do you make the same car feel different? It's all in the execution here—despite the identical underpinnings, each one feels appreciably different than the other. Much to our surprise.
Oh, and we have the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport in the garage, too. It's stick!
