Dundee Stars head coach Marc LeFebvre says heās grown as a coach in the last decade as he prepares for another campaign.
LeFebvre was a guest on the latest edition of the Elite podcast where he discussed his current Dundee team and took the time to reflect on his career as a coach so far.
And the former Coventry Blaze coach revealed heās learned to grow and evolve since first stepping on to the bench in the Elite League in 2013.
āI think my man management is better than it was when I was younger,ā he said. āPeople wonāt say Iām calmer because Iām always screaming at the refs, but in terms of how I talk to the guys, I feel Iām better at that certainly.
āBut you have to evolve as you get older and if you canāt do that, youāll get left behind and Iāve always taken baby steps to grow.
āAm I always going to do the right thing? No, but Iāll always do whatās best for the club, but you have to take chances and be comfortable taking risks.
āIāve also learned to ignore the outside noise. I used to be bothered about what other people, but as Iāve gotten older, I take less notice and do whatās best for the team and the club.ā
