Bonjour, hello, and welcome. Please, make yourself comfortable. You know, thinking back... life certainly had a different rhythm in the past, didn't it? Stories felt somehow more... real, perhaps? Things you held onto through all sorts of weather. I've always gathered them, like companions met on winding roads through life. Now, I have this desire to share them, and my language, in a way that feels natural, something I wish I'd had myself sometimes. So, here's how we do it: I read a line in English, just so you have your bearings, and then, tout de suite, the French flows right after. Simple as that. Why this 'line by ligne'? Franchement, because I've seen the struggle! Maybe you feel it too? It’s not about memorizing endless rules. Non. It’s about catching the echo between the languages, feeling the connection. You start to almost hum the French melody alongside the English, n'est-ce pas? It’s about letting the language become familiar, like a well-loved song you slowly learn by heart. So, if you're curious about French, perhaps you know the basics or a little more (that A2-B2 stage is perfect!), or if you simply enjoy settling down with a good story, then this podcast is for you. We'll explore tales that have stayed with me, perhaps classics stumbled upon in unexpected corners of the world, or narratives discovered tucked away in a bouquiniste stall by the Seine years ago. Stories with some heart, some soul, gathered along the way.
