Matt speaks to us about his time flying the Cessna Caravan and Pilatus Porter for Susi Air in Indonesia. Matt shares tales of what it was like operating one of the worlds best STOL aircraft into some interesting places, and the dangers that came with it along with putting pen to paper and the recent release of his new book "Flying from Shangri-La" available now on Matts website and Amazon.

We spoke to Author, Tornado Navigator and Gulf War Veteran, John Nichol. John was famously shot down in the Gulf War by the Iraqis. John was captured and subjected to torture, while the allies continued their attacks on Saddams regime. John was paraded on tv before finally being released 6 weeks later.
John has written numerous books about aviation and we speak to him about his latest one "Tornado- In the eye of the storm". John's book tells the story of the Tornado force at war, along with his own story of his war as a Prisoner of War.

on this episode we speak to former Typhoon pilot, author and former Officer Commanding of 1 Squadron, Wing Commander Mike Sutton. Mike started off flying Jaguar's. He then went on to be a Qualified Weapons Instructor and then posted to the brand new and shiny Eurofighter Typhoon. Mike was then made boss on 1 Squadron and lead the Squadron into war against ISIS in 2015. Mike is the first and only Typhoon pilot to use the guns cannon in anger.

We had the pleasure of talking to former F15 pilot and Thunderbird F16 pilot, Major Ryan Bodenheimer. Ryan talks to us about his time un the USAF flying the F15 on the front line, his time flying F16's with the USAF Thunderbirds display team. Ryan chats to us about going supersonic as a formation and how he ended up starting his own Shower Gel company, Be jet Clean.

Sunday the 23 of May, Myself and my good buddy Rob took the 3 hour drive to Peterborough Connington to fly in the Harvard T6 "The Wacky Wabbit". The Harvard was a Battle of Britain pilot's last training flight before being handed the keys to a Spitfire or Hurricane. and sent to war. In this episode myself and Rob chat about what its like flying in the Harvard and being handed the controls of a genuine 2.5 tonn warbird!

This week we spoke to Sam Worthington-Leese.
Sam had a very unlucky start to his aviation career with being made redundant from the RAF then his flight school going bust. Sam very quickly bounced back and gained his tail wheel, CPL, ME/IR and instructor rating in a very impressive 13 months! Sam then started flying the Harvard T6 which led to him Soloing a Spitfire!
In dark times in the aviation industry like we have now, never giving up is essential and Sam is the epitome of not giving up and chase your dreams!!
