On this episode of Fader & Friends we sit down with Joshua Carl, a DJ from just outside Boston, MA. He talks about growing up in the 80s, his influences, how quiet cool into the comic book world. Later he talks about the military and his time serving overseas being a combat medic and the medieval weapons that lured him into enlisting.
His pick is the 2014 Vampire Mocu-mentary "What We Do in the Shadows" directed by Taika Waititi, Starring Waititi, Jermaine Clement and other New Zealand actors.
Later we recast this movie as if it were made in the late 80s early 90's, why? because that's what nerd's do!!

Episode 002 Coming Straight at you with another 80s CLASSIC CULT movie, Big Trouble in Little China.
We sit down and chop it up with Sacramento Based DJ Billy Lane. First we talk about growing up during the B-Boy era with graffiti, break dancing and the life long California resident's connection with music. Growing up during the thriving arcade and rave scene in the 90s molded the person we see each and every week over at twitch.tv/916junglist.
Then we get into his pick, the John Carpenter classic, Big Trouble in Little China. We got over our favorite scenes and hidden gems of the film. Later, we recast the movie for a 2025 reboot using today's actors.
