Scripture can be a bit vague as to how we are to treat those of the opposite sex. Couple that with our desire to push the limits, not wanting to hurt someone’s feelings, or society’s passion for attention and ever changing view on sex outside of marriage, and we can find ourselves in some pretty muddy water.
What was once thought of as outrageous or scandalous behavior with someone of the opposite sex, is now not only commonplace, but often encouraged.
But as Christian woman and wives, where do we draw the line? What conduct or behavior is acceptable to God and how do we keep ourselves or our husbands from falling into the slippery slope of an affair?
Today we will look at God’s Word to bring us some clarity on what the expectation is in this, as well as some necessary boundaries to set in place to protect ourselves and our marriages.
Let’s get started.

Hi girls, Today we're covering a topic that a member of our FB community has asked about and one that each of us will most likely face at one time or another in our marriages.
As submissive respectful wives, what do we do when our husband sins or is allowing a stumbling block in his life that can lead him down a destructive path? Hurting both himself and our family.
In this espisode we will look at what the Bible says about sin, judging others, the Holy Spirit’s role in this, and biblical reproof. All of which will help us with some practical steps as to what to do when our husband sins or allows stumbling blocks in his life.
Let's get started.

Last week we asked the question, are you suffering in an unhappy marriage? One where your husband is maybe unkind or unloving and you fear that you will be bound in a loveless difficult marriage forever?
We talked about some bad advice that is out there and even though it may seem biblical, it isn’t and will only lead you to more problems.
We also began to look at the hope and peace that we have in Christ. How He is always with us and ultimately in control of everything.
Today, we’re finishing our conversation as we chat about how through our trials, God is not only doing a work in us to strengthen our faith, but that as wives, we are in the unique position to be used for God's glory and purpose in reaching our husbands.
Let’s get started.

Are you suffering in an unhappy marriage? One where your husband is maybe unkind, not the man you thought he was, unloving, or doesn’t consider your feelings?
Have you prayed to God, tried to change things, but nothing seems to work? Are you looking for a way out because you fear that you will be bound in a loveless difficult marriage forever?
If this is you, then I have two things for your today. One is a warning of bad advice that may sound good, may even appear biblical, but it isn’t and will only lead you down the wrong road.
The other is hope! Hope of God's truth, love, sovereignty, and wisdom to give you guidance and strength to see you through.

Are you praying but feel like God isn’t hearing your prayers because nothing is changing in your life? Have you lost hope in your prayers and therefore lost hope in your marriage ever being what you want it to be?
There is power in the Word of God and when we pray scripture, there is power in our prayers. The verses that we are going to begin to pray over your marriage today, are the basis for all marriages. They will apply to you in improving your marriage, no matter where you are in your relationship.
They are what a loving, strong, biblical marriage is based on and as you pray them, you will be inviting the Holy Spirit to come and to do a mighty work in your life. Are you ready for this?

In the last two episodes we have looked at how Christ loves the church as an example of what the husband's role is in marriage. Knowing that none of us can live up to the perfect love of Christ, we have also talked about what our realistic expectations of our husbands should be.
By knowing what their role is, having grace and mercy to understand that we are all a work in progress, by being encouraging, rather than fight against them, we can work together with our husbands to have the kind of loving marriage that God designed for us to have.
So join me as we finish up our journey of a realistic view of the husband’s role in marriage, what our expectations should be, and how we as wives can help to encourage a more Christlike love in our marriage.
Let’s get started.

Last week we began our journey into the husband's role in marriage as we looked at Christ's example of an active love and a sacrificial love. We also looked at what our realistic expectations should be in this and how when we do our part as wives, we are helping to support our husbands in their role as well.
As we continue our conversation, we will discuss 3 more examples of how Christ loves the church with His protecting love, purifying love, and caring love. We will go over what these look like in practical terms and when it may be time to have a conversation to make some changes.
Join me as we unpack these vital aspects of a God-designed love and follow His amazing plan for our marriages

Many of us come into marriage with notions of what it will be like. Some of our ideas come from what we saw with our parents or other relatives, what we have seen portrayed in sitcoms, movies or what we have read in books.
We also may know what scripture says about the roles of husbands and wives and have our own version as to what this looks like in our minds.
However, are we accurate and realistic of our husband's role? Are we expecting too little or too much from them?
Today, we will begin our journey into a realistic view of how a husband is to love his wife, as Christ loves the church. As well as how you can encourage him in his role to improve your relationship.
Let’s get started.

As we talked about last week, we all have stress or anxiety from time to time, and have felt the negative emotions of being annoyed, frustrated, or even angry in our marriages.
Christen shared with us how the simple use of essential oils with the power of scripture, helped her with the stresses of law school and brought her back into a right relationship with the Lord.
Today, we continue our conversation as Christen shares her testimony of how using a sensory routine enabled her to work through some of the negative emotions she was feeling in her marriage and to ward off the attacks of the enemy by taking her thoughts captive.
It’s a relatable powerful testimony that you’re not going to want to miss.

As busy wives and moms, we all have a certain amount of stress and anxiety. Yes, we are told in scripture not to worry, however as we all know, that is much easier said than done.
We also know that the blessing of being married, brings with it a gamut of emotions from love, excitement, and even joy, to feelings of being annoyed, frustrated, and yes, sometimes down right angry.
My guest today is going to share with us how she used essential oils with the power of scripture, to calm her anxiousness, manage her stress level in the moment, and to work through her emotions as God worked to heal and strengthen her marriage.
I’m so excited to be sharing this with you today!

It happens all the time, a problem arises, things get busy, and attending church becomes less and less of a priority or falls by the wayside altogether. We have well-meaning intentions that we are only going to skip church for a short time for this one thing.
But then, as our weekends get filled up with activities, it becomes harder and harder to get back into the habit of getting everybody up, ready, and out the door on a Sunday morning.
If this goes on long enough, we may even begin to lose sight of why we were going in the first place and what difference does it really make in our lives?
But ladies, it does make a difference and can be a vital part of bringing about the changes that you want to see in yourself and your marriage. Today I want to encourage you by sharing with you 5 ways that being in church can improve your marriage and your family life.
Let’s get started.

I hear from women all the time, I wish my husband would do this or stop doing that. Maybe it’s to consider your feelings more, stop being busy with other things and spend more time with the family, or be the godly leader of the household.
We feel that the only way to get our husbands to change or do things differently, is to in some way convince them to do so. Because we see a desperate need for change, we meet the problem head on and do all that we can to try to convince our husband’s to see things our way and to make the necessary changes to improve our relationship. Sound familiar?
But what if? What if we stopped all that and did something different. A different approach that I think would give you a greater opportunity for success. Would you be willing to try it?
If so . . . Let’s get started.

God designed for there to be love, tenderness and unity in a marriage. It’s easy to have these things while we’re dating and first married. While things are fresh and new and our hearts are full of love for one another.
After the newness of marriage wears off and the daily grind of life, kids, work, and taking care of the house sets in, how do you keep the love and tenderness towards one another alive?
Today I’m sharing with you 7 scripture verses that will help you to keep or bring back these important aspects in your marriage.

In this episode we are continuing our chat about parents and in-laws. What their place is suppose to be in our life now that we are married, how we are to treat them, and what to do when they behave rudely or make our lives difficult.
The world has its own views on this, but what does the Bible say about how we are to treat our parents? As we started to see last week, there is more in scripture about parents then we may have realized and that how we treat them, can have a direct affect on our own lives as well.
Today, I’ll be sharing with you some of my own experience as a mother-in-law, the responsibility that scripture says we have to our parents and how to avoid conflicts or resolve them when they happen.
Let’s get started.

Then, when you add two sets of parents into the mix, it can be seem impossible that you will ever all get along.
