While we started out with the intent to make this a farm focused podcast we have quickly discovered that our lives encompass so much more that we want to share. So we made the decision to take ourselves out of the niche and move forward under the name The FamLee Life Podcast.
This is going to allow us to just come to the table and share whats on our minds any given week. This doesn’t mean we will be getting out of farm content all together. Instead we will just be bringing in additional topics. New topics could really be anything but I am sure we will be getting into faith, photography, hiking, biking, really anything outdoors, and so so much more. We are excited to about the new opportunity this change brings and we hope you are as well.
With this being one of our last conversations before Christmas we wanted to also spend sometime talking about Christmas movies and music. Though by this point we were both pretty tired and my voice was gone. -
Apologizes for the audio issues this week. We all ways do a mic check but sadly this devolved during the real recording. We have fixed the issues and next weeks episode will be better.
This week we jump into the subject of why Quail are a better option then chickens for most people. Having both we have really learned a lot about the great benefits of quail that anyone can enjoy. -

It’s cold and the days are short so work is slowing down in the farm but that doesn’t mean nothing interesting is going on. Our test seeds are doing well under the grow light. We’ve been on the road. Expectations are high for the next week thanks to time off for the holiday. Thanksgiving is upon us and we couldn’t be more excited for good food and fun times with family. We hope you had a blessed Holiday!

We finally did our soil test and the results were not as expected. But we have put together a three part plan for better soil and a better yield this year. We also recap the past week on the farm.

Think for joining us again for another installment of the FamLee Farms podcast. Last week we announced the newest addition to the farm. So we thought it best that in todays episode we should go into greater detail explaining the many reasons we chose to add an angora rabbit to the farm. With plans to add at least one more in the very near future. As always we share other events that have taken place on the farm since the last podcast. Including soil tests, a sick toddler, and the importance of good dog training. And we cant forget all the rabbit trails that are taken through every episode. We wouldn’t be rabbit farmers if we didn’t find ourselves on a rabbit trail fairly often would we? We hope you will enjoy spending some time with us on the farm today.
