Sol is a great example of a player who put the hardest and smartest work in to reach his goals of playing International cricket. Battles through numerous injuries which eventually caused him to give up Fast Bowling. And has spent time in the change rooms with some of the most amazing minds in Cricket. With a wealth of knowledge and a gifted talker! This is a great chat filmed right here in Melbourne in my backyard where we dig into his playing and coaching career, insights he's taken from others and his philosophies when it comes to getting the best out of yourself.

Macca's been a wonderful guy to have a chat with and who also played a key role in my last podcast guest (Katie Georges) back rehabilitation and technical development. Funnily enough Macca is now WACA's Fast Bowling coach and has done a straight swap with one of my other previous chats Matt Mason who is Now England Women's Fast Bowling Coach. I'll definitely be having some more chats with Macca about how he handles the pace Cartel of Jhye Richardson, Lance Morris, AJ Tye and Jason Behrendorff next year after the season is done.

This was a ripper chat! Katie is a former English contracted Fast Bowler currently signed with Central Sparks and Welsh Fire in the hundred. Katie's had an unfortunate string of back injuries and when we spoke had just lost her England contract. Her journey was a pleasure to listen and despite all the setbacks her spirit and resilience were phenomenal. I'll definitely have to have Katie back on for chat when she finally gets a season back on the park and gets to enjoy getting back into doing her thing.

Stuart is a Fast Bowling coach with over 20 years of experience who's coached from junior level right up to International cricket. Currently he's working with Surrey developing their pathway quicks, and before that spent time with Cricket Ireland. I could keep going but his Cricketing CV would take a while to get through!
Hope you enjoy this chat! And i can tell you now this wont be the first one. If you want to know more about Barnsey's coaching you can find more information here: https://sbcricket.com

Stella is a truly wonderful woman and at the Age of 19 has already represented Australia. Making her Test and ODI debut as a teenager. Pretty Cool! She also represents NSW and the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash. I got to know Stella through her coach Ash Squires from 360 cricket academy (Check it out if your in Sydney) who supported her through her developmental years and aided in building the bowler we see today.
This was a great chat as Stella was recovering from minor back surgery and was in the early stages of rehab. I think she's progressed to 2k walks now! Her journey has many insight which we shared over this chat, hope you enjoy!

Brandon is a South African born, Netherlands representative and currently contracted in the UK with the Northants. He's a top bloke who can bowl 140+ and was truly great to chat with. There's so much to learn from his journey including some of the coaching insights his Fast Bowling coach Chris Liddle has provided him.

Mase is an elite level coach who worked with WACA during their state win last season (21/22) and has now moved to warwickshire as their bowling coach.
In this chat we talk about his experiences developing Cam Green with the help of Dr. Paul Felton (Episode #08) and AJ Tye sharing many pearls of wisdom about coaching philosophy.

Feltz is a wealth of Fast Bowling knowledge having completed his PhD investigating the biomechanics of Fast Bowling Performance. He spent time working alongside Kevin Shine with Englands Pace Program and has also consulted around the world. One example is his work with Matt Mason (Bowling Coach of Western Australia who will feature in episode 09) where he assisted with Australian cricketers Cameron Green technical rehab from multiple stress injuries and also AJ Tye's pace improvement.

Simon was my bowling coach when I first invested in coaching 6 years ago back in 2016. He'd coach me for an hour and then we'd chat in the carpark for 2 hrs. It was during these conversations that stoked the fire that eventually saw make a transition into coaching Fast Bowling. It's only fitting that for the first episode of this relaunch is with my good mate and 'Fast Bowling Brother' Simon.
