  • Hello Everyone, I am Derek from Finlandtour.fi. Today in this podcast, I will try to describe our Turlu tour from Helsinki. To be precise, it will be around 7 hours of tour, including train transfers. The basic inclusions of this tour are: Train journey from Helsinki to Turku, 3 hour Turku city tour in car and return train Journey from Turku to Helsinki central. We can also arrange transfers for you from your hotel in Helsinki central to Helsinki station and back.

The train journey to Turku is around 2 hours from Helsinki station. When you book the tour with us, our team provides the e-copy of the train ticket, which you use to board the train. After arriving Turku, our guide will pick you up from station and make you explore the beautiful city.

We start in Turku, Finland’s oldest city and former capital. This beautiful town is like a living museum, with almost 800 years of history packed into its streets and buildings. On this tour, you’ll get to learn all about Turku’s architecture, culture, and even its vibrant modern-day universities and industries.

One of the highlights here is the Turku Cathedral. It’s a stunning piece of history, over 700 years old, and it stands tall as a symbol of Finland’s cultural heritage. Walking through the cathedral feels like stepping back in time – you can almost hear the whispers of centuries gone by.

From there, we hop into our minivan and take a short 20-minute drive to another gem of Finnish history – Naantali. This quaint medieval town is truly a sight to behold. It was founded around the Brigittine Convent, a church that still dominates the skyline and tells tales of its monastic past.

In Naantali, we take a relaxing walk through the Old Town. Picture this – narrow cobblestone lanes, colorful wooden houses, and the refreshing scent of the sea just steps away. It’s an experience that’s both peaceful and inspiring.

This whole journey takes about three hours in total, and it’s done comfortably by car. It’s the perfect blend of history, culture, and scenic beauty. Whether you’re a history enthusiast or just someone looking for a unique Finnish adventure, this tour has something for everyone.

After this guided tour, you will return to Helsinki station and our Turku tour from Helsinki ends. That’s a wrap for today’s episode! If you’re planning a trip to Finland, this tour is an absolute must. Thanks for listening, and as always, don’t forget to subscribe for more travel tips and stories. • This is the story of a Singaporean couple of tourists visiting Finland for a journey of the Lapland tour to witness the northern lights.

    https://lestacworld.com/blog/customer-review/our-finland-tour-from-singapore/

I am Seng Huat, a resident of Singapore, and I was recently married to a beautiful woman. We both work for a finance company in Singapore. Merry and I already had plans of visiting Finland; plans were getting finalized before marriage only. Usually I do all my tours on my own, but this was special, and I did not want any last-minute surprises.Anyway, we will share our Finland tour from Singapore experience in brief in this article.

Special thanks to the Lestacworld PR team for encouraging us to write about the tour and our experiences.

Well, why we decided to visit Finland is a crucial question.Merry, even before meeting me, had a dream to visit the Arctic Circle and see the northern lights. To be very honest, I was not even aware of the Northern Lights concept before Marry told me about it. She used to keep talking and explaining the concepts, and those were the days we decided that we would surely visit the Arctic Circle in Finland.

We actually went to Finland after 11 months of our marriage because, in 2022, we got late in planning the tour, and the northern lights phenomenon exists only a few months a year.

We actually started researching for the Finland tour from Singapore around January 2023.By the time we knew about the best season to visit, we were sure that we were going to visit Lapland, and we wanted to stay in an Igloo room.

Initially, we thought of giving it a shot on our own, and I and Merry started connecting with the local vendors in Finland and Lapland. Soon, we realized that it was going to be a daunting task because the tour vendors would not respond to you the way someone else would in any other tourist destination.

Although we were not sure how to go with it, we almost got all the clarity about the itinerary and tours on our own. Then we started researching for a travel company that specializes in Finland as a destination. Merry I landed at finlandtour.fi on the itinerary pages for Finland. We found the itineraries as per our interest, and we contacted customer support at finlandtour.fi on Wattsapp.

Fortunately, they were quick to respond and answered our queries with clarity. Our first point of contact was Denny. We asked him to customize the itineraries that were already on their website, as per our requirements, and within 3 hours, we got the itinerary we wanted.

I was still not convinced because the company was new to us and I wanted to do some more research about it. After 2-3 days of research and price analyses, we then realized that we should not miss the deals and availabilities.A special mention goes to Mr. Joesph & Denny, who tolerated our questions and made customizations.

We soon booked our tickets and paid the initial amount to finlandtour.fi.
