  • In this episode, I sit down with actor, musician, and writer Nico Tortorella to talk about everything from why this is the most nervous I’ve ever been for an interview; to how he discovered songwriting during his wife’s pregnancy. We discuss my journey with Nico’s work and why his book, “Space Between: Explorations of Love, Sex, and Fluidity” deeply moved me, how challenging it was for him to write the book, and how his views on gender have expanded since having a child. He shares how he was raised regarding queerness, how his and his wife’s monogamy has organically taken shape since having their child, and what it was like having a profound home birth experience. He also talks about his views on approaching gender conversations in households, his ten-year sobriety from alcohol, on allowing ourselves and others permission to change our minds, and much more.

  • In this episode, I sit down with fashion creator Mallory K. Goldman to talk about her surrogacy journey and provide an honest look at how a surrogacy process works from start to finish. Mallory shares the challenge of keeping her surrogacy private and why it’s so thrilling to get it all out in the open, how she has lived with an autoimmune disease since she was fourteen years old, and what led to her finally exploring surrogacy. She describes how the surrogacy process progressed, from the embryo selection to matching with their surrogate, why it was important to incorporate normalcy throughout the process, and what she and her husband were looking for in a surrogate match. She also shares why her surrogacy experience is unique, why the embryo transfer was the hardest part of the process, what she is most excited about when it comes to parenting, and more.

  • In this episode, I sit down with Eve Rodsky, creator, founder, and author of Fair Play: a life-management and household organization system. Eve and I discuss her feminist upbringing and how her experiences in the corporate world were inhospitable to motherhood, how she created the Fair Play system and why a “blueberry text” from her husband was the catalyst, and why it’s essential to change from the reactive to the systematic when implementing change. Eve talks about the burden of invisible work that women so often take upon themselves in the home, she explains how the Fair Play cards work, and we discuss listener feedback on the most difficult parts of the mental load. Finally, we talk about why it’s so hard to have these conversations with our partners, what defines a “unicorn space” versus other types of fun, and why it is essential for our happiness and longevity to create “I can’t fucking believe I just did that” moments in our lives.

  • In this episode, I sit down with Bachelor favorite Bri Springs to discuss all things Bachelor Nation and how someone who had never seen The Bachelor before ended up on the show. Bri shares what it’s like to meet fans and why she was initially vulnerable about being “that girl from The Bachelor,” how she processed being broken up with on national television, and what it was like returning home from the show and assimilating into normal life. She also talks about why she wanted to go back to the corporate world after her TV experience, how she decided whether or not she was going to be the next Bachelorette, and why craving purpose and structure is what fuels her decision-making now. • In this solo episode, I answer listener questions on all things nanny-related, from why we made the decision to get full-time care; to how we went about the process from start to finish. I share how I’ve been reconnecting with myself lately and why it has a lot to do with our recent nanny hire, what our history of childcare has looked like through the years, and why we chose a nanny vs. daycare. I then answer questions on how we found our nanny, what the interview process looked like, and how we figured out what worked for us. I also discuss the guilt I feel for “losing” time with my kids and struggling with FOMO, how I create distance while working from home, and why it’s so important to be honest and transparent about childcare.

  • In this solo episode, I unpack how both of my postpartum experiences have differed, from my relationships with anxiety and depression; to my fixation on controlling outcomes; to how I have prioritized self care and developed mental health toolkits for myself. I recap my first postpartum experience in 2021, sharing what my relationship with anxiety was like before getting pregnant and how it manifested in postpartum, and how my need for control created obsessive behaviors. I then share my second and most recent postpartum experience, from dealing with sleep issues with both children; to feeling mentally stronger; to letting go of how things “should be” and embracing them for what they are. Finally, I share what I wish I had started earlier during postpartum, and what I would tell myself as a first-time mother experiencing both the highs and lows of postpartum.

  • In this solo episode, I celebrate my two year anniversary of being alcohol-free with a deep dive into my decision to stop drinking, my background with alcohol growing up, and where I stand now on this decision that started out as a temporary experiment. I share how I suspected I didn’t enjoy drinking in college and post-college years like other people, how the effects of alcohol changed after my concussion, and why I felt angry and disempowered when I couldn’t drink after my accident. Finally, I answer listener questions like whether I ever miss drinking, how alcohol affects my mental health versus other substances, how I navigate events with friends and being around people who are drinking, and much more.
