Hey hey, my friend! Iāve got a bit of a personal one for you today, and honestly, I wasnāt sure if Iād even have time to sit down and record this, but here I am, because I think that this message is so important.
So, life threw my family a major curveball recently. My husbandā God bless himātore his Achilles last week, and let me tell you, the recovery for that is no joke. Iām officially wearing ALL the hats right now: nurse, mom, wife, all around holiday magic maker, and oh yeah, business owner of 2 Etsy shops, a podcast, and Etsy Coach. Itās A LOT, especially during the holiday season, but hereās the thingāitās also a reminder of why I am SO grateful for this business model Iāve built with Etsy and digital products.
Today, I want to talk about why passive income is an absolute game-changer, especially when life doesnāt go according to plan. Whether itās taking a break for something like a vacation, for the holidays, or, in my case, stepping away to care for a family member on TOP of the holiday season, having a business that works for YOU āeven when youāre not actively workingāis such a gift.

You know, those soul-crushing, one-star hits that make you want to crawl into a blanket fort with a pint of Ben & Jerryās and rethink all your life choices.
But hereās the thingābad reviews are a rite of passage. Even with over 6,000 reviews in my shop with 99% of them being 5 stars, Iāve had my share of āDear Lord, what is this person even talking about?ā moments.

And Iāve been working on this secretly behind the scenes because I really wanted to implement my strategy (again) from the very beginning and mirror exactly what my students are doing in my course. I canāt believe Iām talking about Black Friday right now! Itās crazy to think that itās literally around the corner, maybe because yesterday was 80 degrees where I am and I think Iām most not looking forward to losing my little tan that is still hanging on by a threadā¦ but tis the season my friends - itās a cominā. Selling digital products isnāt the only way that you can make passive profits on Etsy. If you are someone who has been wanting or at least curious to explore the option of selling physical products like t-shirts, hoodies, mugs - print on demand makes this possible by basically doing all of the work for you! This business model was the one that I started before I opened my digital product Etsy shop and to be completely honest, I saw some really, REALLY amazing success with it. I donāt sell print on demand anymore and Iām going to let you decide if it really was a failure or not - because I tell you all about my story in this episode about the literal roller coaster ride that print on demand was for me, but also WHY I am most likely going to be opening up a new print on demand Etsy shop again, and the absolutely amazing lessons I learned and how that affects the information that I share with YOU.
