Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals only lost one game this past week, so why are Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) still stressing out? After all, the club has made up ground in the division, swept the powerhouse Orioles, and won two rain-soaked games against the Cubs. What's not to like? Well, there's still some weak spots in the offense and the bullpen is putting off some warning lights. Could there be help on the horizon? And the guys also get into the surprising news of Angel Hernandez retiring.

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. The Redbirds won both of their series last week, but Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) aren't throwing any parties just yet. There's still a lot of concerning things with this team even if things are a little more optimistic than they were a week ago. Is the offense coming around just in time to see the pitching go south? What should the club do with Matthew Liberatore and the fifth starter spot? Should Dylan Carlson being playing more or Jordan Walker returned from Memphis? All of this and these two fashionistas tackle the City Connect jerseys as well!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. The Redbirds won on Sunday for the first time all season but that's really all the good news Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) have about the last seven days. The Cards dropped all their games with only a rainout sparing them from a complete set. They lost their catcher and main offensive weapon when Willson Contreras's arm got in the way of J.D. Martinez's bat. The offense didn't pick up the slack, either. There are a lot of issues with this team and the guys pick through most of them.

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. It was a pretty miserable week for the Cardinals, dropping series to the Tigers and the worst team in baseball coming into this series. What's a team to do? Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) don't really have any solutions, but they definitely can point to some problems. What will it take to get some offense around here?

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals won both series they played this week and were one strike away from getting a sweep at CitiField. That doesn't mean everything is sunshine and roses for Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor). There's no doubt that the bullpen has been remarkable and the starting pitching more stout than expected, but where are the bats? Why can't they seem to find a groove? We know where Jordan Walker is--at Memphis, trying to find his stroke. Was that the right move? All this and much more!

Two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis about the St. Louis Cardinals. Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) have real concerns about the offense of the Cardinals and how things are trending in a very similar direction as last year. There's no solutions here, but before we get to the concerns and complaints, David had a chance to interview Kyle Gibson (@kgib44) earlier this week. So listen to that and then maybe stick around for two grumps. We also had some recording glitches, so we like the Cardinals also had trouble making contact.

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. A downer of a series in Arizona puts the Cardinals exactly where they were at this point last season, something that does not inspire Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) with confidence. Can this offense get clicking? What's up with all the Masyn Winn rest days? Are all of Oli Marmol's moves doomed? At least the guys end on a Sonny note, talking about the return of the staff ace.

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. Even though they lost Sunday's game against the Marlins, there's plenty in the last week that encourages Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor). Things haven't clicked on all cylinders but people like Sonny Gray and Lars Nootbaar should be returning soon. How does the roster look then? Do the Cardinals have one of those "good problem to have" at catcher? What's up with Nolan Arenado? All this and much more!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) recorded at their normal time, which happened to coincide with when John King came into the game, so you can hear the tone of the show shift in real time! Actually, there's plenty of issues with this team already and a tough series coming up. Come listen in as the guys try to make sense of it all!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis about the St. Louis Cardinals. Spring training is over and Opening Day is almost here. However, if you are expecting a rah-rah, pump-you-up show to kick off the season, you are going to be disappointed. Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) talk honestly about the weaknesses of this team, what this season means, and how it could go south. It's not all doom and gloom, though! There are things to be excited about and, if nothing else, perhaps you save this episode to point out just how wrong both these guys are!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and information you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. It's St. Patrick's Day and the Cardinals could use a little luck of the Irish to keep everyone in one piece. Keynan Middleton went down this week, a troubling injury in an area where the Cards actually have some depth. Oli Marmol found a pot of gold mid-week as the Cardinals extended him for two years. Is this really a big deal and does it change much of anything? And do spring training stats start counting now that there are just 10 days left? Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) are wearing the green and talking the red!
-
Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis about the St. Louis Cardinals. This week's show is brought to you by Mercy Health because it's all about injured Cardinals and Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) don't have medical degrees. Sonny Gray's hamstring was whole a week ago. Are we worried about what that means for the long term? When in the world will Tommy Edman come back and can Dylan Carlson pick up the slack? We'd make a Lars Nootbaar crack but his ribs beat us to it. With him out, the guys debate pro and con on the idea of Victor Scott II on the roster. It's a show Hawkeye Pierce and Joan Watson would approve of!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cards were rained out on Sunday, meaning that they didn't get a chance to finally hit a home run. You'll have to judge if Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) picked up the slack. The guys talk about some early stats that aren't flattering and their level of concern over them. They try to make some sense out of the Brandon Crawford signing. And Daniel doesn't let David get by without addressing his prediction from last week. Plenty in here for you!
-
Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. The spring training games have gotten underway and so far all three games have been available on TV, giving Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) plenty to discuss. Does Masyn Winn's big Sunday put to rest some of the questions that swirled this week about shortstop? Has Alec Burleson's outfield work this winter paid off? How are the Cardinals going to get all those arms into the bullpen? Unlike the new Fanatics jersey pants, there's plenty of material here!
-
Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. It's a new season, both for the team and for the show, and Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) are here to talk about what's been going on in Jupiter this week. Is this leadership thing taking hold? Can we tell? What has impressed the guys so far out of the first few days? And how does the team utilize Zack Thompson and Matthew Liberatore this season? All that and some disturbing imagery to boot!
-
Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. With the signing of Keynan Middleton, the Cards seem to have wrapped up their work for the winter. Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) discuss what the Cardinals have done, where they think the team sits now, and what the rest of the NL Central looks like. The truck's off to Jupiter and a new season awaits!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. As January winds to a close, Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) talk about the little news there is and then get a little ranty about this past winter. Tommy Edman signed a two year contract that bought out his arbitration years. Is this a big deal? Why didn't it go longer? Why are the Cardinals so afraid of insurance in the rotation? David also goes down the prospect lists that have come out and talks about where the young Cardinals show up. Plenty for you in this one!
-
Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. This week there were plenty of moves for Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) to discuss, even if most of them wound up in the "eh, it's fine" pile. James Naile goes to Korea, which means the Cards can sign Matt Carpenter. Can his bat do anything? Can he be the leader they want? Do they even need said leader? The guys also get into Tommy Edman's contract extension, so stick around for Daniel's hot take, or as hot of a take as he is capable of.
-
Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need for the St. Louis Cardinals. There might be snow on the ground where Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) are but that doesn't mean that nobody's talking baseball. Winter Warmup in St. Louis brings John Mozeliak and the players out for media availability. What stood out to the guys? Is it really true the RSN situation didn't affect this winter? Is Victor Scott II really the next Mookie Betts? And why are the Cardinals going to arbitration with Tommy Edman? All that and more on this week's show!
-
Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. With the holidays behind, Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) get back together to talk baseball in an extra-long edition of Gateway. The club seems to be done with its construction of the 2024 team. Where did the payroll increase that was discussed go? Was last year really a wake-up call for this club? The bullpen has gotten a low-cost makeover--how encouraging are its chances next season? All that plus much more!
