In this episode of "You Can Handle Anything," I delve into one of the most common but overlooked issues in relationships: the "rulebooks" we create for others.
These are the expectations we set about how people should act, speak, and behaveālike putting away shoes or doing dishes.
Often, the other person is unaware of these rules, leading to frustration and resentment when they don't comply.
Discover how recognizing and potentially letting go of these rulebooks can transform your relationships, preventing unnecessary conflict and fostering better understanding.
Tune in to learn strategies for managing your expectations and improving your interactions with others.

Ever catch yourself thinking, "I wish I could..." or "I wish I had..."? š¤
Those aren't just daydreams; they're powerful desires pointing you toward your destiny.
Most of us try to chase these dreams by setting goals.
But here's the tough truth: most people don't achieve them.
Why?
Well, I want to share two big reasons:
They get hyper-focused on the end result, instead of falling in love with the process and the identity shift that occurs along the way. š« When emotional roadblocks pop up, they give up instead of pushing through. š¢It's a real shame, because it doesnāt have to be this way.
I firmly believe you can achieve your goals because you are the creator of your life experiences.
But you need the right approach:
Create evolutionary goals that transform you. Plan your journey thoughtfully. Be emotionally equipped to avoid self-sabotage.Want to know more?

Ever been called a terrible parent by your own child?
Yup, that's exactly what happened to me recently. š¢
And trust me, it wasn't fun.
But here's the good news: Instead of getting defensive, the new Shira handled it differently.
š I stayed calm, kept control, and responded in a way that made me proud.
It's not that I'm special.
I just had The unSTUCK Method to lean on, which saved the day.
No blaming, no complaining, no losing control.
Just a well-handled conversation between mother and daughter.
I have to say, I'm so proud. š

Have you ever had a day where your simple plans just donāt pan out?
Not the life-changing ones, but the daily stuff: a walk, cooking a specific meal, finishing a task.
Out of the blue, things happen, and what you wanted to do just canāt be done.
When that happens, you face a choice: stick with the frustration or move past it.
Every moment gives you the power to either react on autopilot or respond with intention.
In every moment, you have the power to choose.
Just yesterday, I had this all planned out - an email blast to my Living Deliberately Circle about all the new videos I created for them, ready after months of hard work.
Then, bam! A computer glitch.
Out of nowhere, out of my control, and there went my email plan.
My first thought? Power through the night until itās fixed.
But then, I paused. Took a step back. Went through The unSTUCK Method.
And, oh, what a difference it made.
Click below to dive into the full story and learn what you can do the next time life throws a wrench in your plans.
P.S. The Living Deliberately Circle is now open! If youāve been waiting for this, nowās your chance. Join us before May 1st to lock in the current price. Canāt wait to welcome you! (Email me for more details and the link to join!)

In this episode, I share a personal challenge from my son's Bar Mitzvah day when everything was set up wrong.
Faced with frustration and the dilemma of speaking up without causing conflict, I turned to The unSTUCK Method.
Discover how I navigated this tricky situation, ensuring a joyful day.
This 14-minute story could change how you handle your next difficult conversation.
Remember, you can handle anything.

Have you ever caught yourself worrying too much about what other people think?
This happened to me last week while I was getting ready for my youngest son's Bar Mitzvah.
I was busy making plans and found myself stuck on worrying about what my friends would think of my decisions.
This worry made me super anxious and I just couldn't shake it off.
It's something we all go through, but it's definitely something to keep an eye on.
Trying to make everyone happy might seem like a good idea, but really, it ends up doing more harm than good.
Instead of trying to please everyone, it's important to remember that their opinions aren't what matters most.
What really counts is how you feel about yourself, your choices, and taking charge of your own thoughts and feelings.
That's where The unSTUCK Method comes in.
One of the many things it does is that it helps you let go of that need to please everyone else so you can focus on what you really want to do.
Check out this week's episode of the "You Can Handle Anything" podcast to hear the story and how you can start to embrace this consideration in your life, too.

But I didnāt.

Have you ever had the experience where someone asks you to do a favor for them - and you gladly help out - only to realize you didn't succeed exactly the way the request was intended?
I just hate it when that happens.
It's like no good deed ever goes unpunished, right?
When that happens, it's so easy to get stuck on self-judgment, self-criticism, and guilt.
But the truth of the matter is, you can't always know everything all of the time.
Things happen.
And instead of staying stuck and feeling bad, you can choose to make a shift and feel better, no matter what the situation.
This is what happened to me earlier in the week when I kind of messed things up with a friend.
Tune in to this week's "You Can Handle Anything" podcast to hear that story.
And as a bonus, I share a second similar story with you in this episode as well.

Have you ever wanted to jump in and help when you see something happening to someone else?
It's totally normal!
But sometimes, it's not our place to fix everything.
I recently saw something happening between my husband and my son the other night at dinner.
At first, I wanted to step in, but I caught myself.
Instead took myself through The unSTUCK Method.
It helped me realize that it wasn't my problem to solve.
By staying out of it, I let my son handle it on his own.
And you know what?
Dinner just continued like nothing happened.
This week on the "You Can Handle Anything" podcast, I share this story and how choosing how to respond can make all the difference. Tune in!
Take a moment to consider trying the same approach in your own life this week.

Over a decade ago, I created The unSTUCK Method to help me manage my emotions in real time.
This tool has transformed my life.
Now, I coach others using this method to break free from the emotional triggers they face.
Supporting someone this way can profoundly impact their life.
This week's "You Can Handle Anything" podcast features an excerpt of "unstuck coaching."
Yet, the coach isn't meāit's a character from a book!
Listen to an interview with my friend and author, Esther Goldenberg.
She shares a story from her new book, "The Scrolls of Deborah," where one friend helps another become unstuck.

When someone triggers you with rude or insensitive words or actions, it's natural to wish it hadn't occurred.
The challenge lies in acknowledging that it DID happen.
Refusing to accept reality leads to unnecessary suffering.
While you may dislike the event or find it perplexing, embracing trust in the present reality facilitates a smoother journey.
Practicing being trusting is something the members of my community, The Living Deliberately Circle, and I explored together this month.
Discover more insights about what it can mean in your life if you were to consider being trusting in this week's "You Can Handle Anything" podcast.
