Issa whole episode on parenting people!
So Cathy decided to gallivant and live out her soft life dreams - this episode finds her at Kalangala Island (L.Victoria) while at a retreat with the rest of her teammates from Fun Factory. Think beautiful beaches, sand and cocktails - eh maama. As for Solaire, she was left alone & frightened in the dusty city of Kampala.
Isaac Kuddzu & Destinee Mutasa join Cathy to talk about what being a father looks like for them and their views on parenting in this new era - is that a cause of entitlement?
Enjoy listening to the episode!

It's going to be a hot one today.
The girls tackle a topic that was considered an open secret but rarely discussed, and even when it was - it was very clinical - sexual harassment.
Does the topic make you feel squirmish ? Did you just roll your eyes because you're so over it? Or did this trigger a memory you would rather forget?
Whatever the reason may be - we hope that you give this episode a listen. Hopefully it will provide insight for those who need it and that would be all of us.

'You know, I could do it...but I don't feel like it'
If you have ever made this statement after seeing someone else do what YOU feel you could do better - you're not alone.
Complacency is a sneaky devil that steals your dreams and ambitions and general zest for life. And as your good sissies - we are here to tell you - it's time for you to dust yourself off and get to doing what needs to be done.
Helen (a firm fav) joins us in this episode and we had such a blast as always. Another familiar voice popped into the studio - so listen out for him.

A trip down memory lane
The girls are in studio...well, they are actually standing outside the studio. The man with the key had gone (for those of you who are curious, that's the title of Dr. Ian Clarke's book on his work in Uganda in the late 1980s early 1990s - an awesome read)
Cathy & Solaire reminisce on growing up in Uganda and just how insane school was.
Enjoy the episode - we had a lot of fun recording it.

Hello hello good people!!
Are you well?
First off - the good news is that we got a highly requested guest for today's episode.
Secondly - Cathy's back in the city!!! Yay! She's wrapped with filming and she's ready to jump onto the next episode - coz it's been a minute.
So on this episode, Solaire will be chatting with Joan Mugenzi (Imagine Me Africa) about the transition we sometimes go through especially when it comes to our careers. Joan is a certified professional coach not just a fancy motivational speaker, ok?
It's a long one but we just had a lot to unpack that couldn't be rushed. We hope you enjoy the episode. Please share with a friend or anyone you think would benefit from hearing Joan's gems of wisdom and you best believe she dropped a whole treasure chest in this episode.
Sending you love & light

Fam, how are you doing?
WE are soo dry. After being MIA and the latest lockdown - we are back on the grind.
Cathy's off on a location shoot so Solaire's all up in her feelings - alone, frightened and feeling abandoned. (She's the drama queen, remember?)
She's going off a tangent and walalaing for you but it will be a good one - we promise. We're going deep - with health scares, feeling blue and getting motivation to get back into the swing of things. We hope you'll be motivated to share with us how you've been getting back and adjusting to life on the outside.
We hope you're safe, at peace and taking care of yourself.
Sending you love and virtual hugs as always
