Please join us this week as Chris and Dan welcome on Maggie Guterl and Zach Miller. Maggie, originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia PA area and now transplanted to Durango, CO. Maggie has been the last person standing at Bigs Backyard Ultra, has taken a crack at the venerable Barkley Marathons on multiple occassions and was the winner of the Cocodona 250 in 2021. Zach, a native of the Lancaster PA who now lives in a self-renovated bus has won the JFK 50, Lake Sonoma 50, The North Face 50, Madeira Island Ultra Trail and most recently was second place at UTMB. Please listen as we talk to them both about the Hardrock Course, their racing careers, their moves across the country and the friends that they have in common.

Tara currently lives in Virginia Beach but is not stranger to hard mountain courses, she won the Run Rabbit Run 100 this year as well as the Hellbender 100. We talk about everything from soft sand running to her FKT on the Colorado Trail.

Blake has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Berkeley along with being an amazing ultra runner in his own right, so you know that this is going to be a very detailed explanation....
Chris and Dan sat down with Blake for a great and detailed conversation about how the lottery is conducted as well as how it has changed over the years. From the humble beginnings of how the lottery started to how it has evolved into what it is today, we also dove into some speculation about what happens to the lottery in the future!
