CHANEL and Dance — Spotlight on "Grace, Jeff Buckley Dances", a Creation by Benjamin Millepied

In an exclusive audio documentary, discover the behind the scenes of the ballet "Grace, Jeff Buckley Dances" supported by CHANEL. Blurring the boundaries between film, dance, visual arts and music, this new creation choreographed by Benjamin Millepied celebrates Jeff Buckley, a mythical figure of the late 20th-century rock scene. Accompanied by musicians covering Jeff Buckley’s iconic songs, namely the tracks from "Grace", the artist’s only album, twelve dancers give life to a series of tableaux recounting the artist’s artwork and fate.
Ever committed to contemporary creation and dance, CHANEL is honoured to be supporting Benjamin Millepied’s tribute to Jeff Buckley.
The first performances of "Grace, Jeff Buckley Dances" take place at La Seine Musicale in Paris from 5th to 10th November 2024.

Pour la quinzième édition des Rendez-vous littéraires rue Cambon consacrée à l’écrivaine Colette et qui s’est tenue à la librairie 7L, à Paris, CHANEL et Charlotte Casiraghi, ambassadrice et porte-parole de la Maison, ont invité l’autrice Emmanuelle Lambert ainsi que l’actrice et amie de la Maison Clémence Poésy.
Animée par la journaliste Olivia Gesbert, cette conversation aborde le cheminement de Colette vers l’émancipation, la façon dont elle n’a cessé de se réinventer tout au long de sa vie, ainsi que son rapport à l’écriture et à la nature qui sont intrinsèquement liés.

Produit par la Philharmonie de Paris et présenté pour la première fois dans la Grande salle Pierre Boulez, Notre Sacre est une adaptation contemporaine du célèbre Sacre du Printemps de Stravinsky. Ce spectacle, mis en récit par Abd Al Malik, avec Blanca Li à la mise en scène et David Grimal à la direction musicale, fait se rencontrer danse, musique et poésie contemporaine, comme un symbole d’unité et de vivre-ensemble.

CHANEL Literary Rendezvous — a conversation with Rachel Cusk, Charlotte Casiraghi and Naomi Campbell

For this thirteenth edition of the Rendez-vous littéraires rue Cambon [Literary Rendezvous at Rue Cambon] that was held at the 7L library in Paris, CHANEL and Charlotte Casiraghi, ambassador and spokesperson for the House, invited novelist and essayist Rachel Cusk, along with model and friend of the House Naomi Campbell.
Moderated by author and critic Erica Wagner, this encounter dedicated to the work of Rachel Cusk considers motherhood, how to explore personal stories through literature and the rework of the literary form it requires: “I think I always felt that my duty was to reality and how the novel could show that and contain it.”

At the heart of the three-day exhibition Manchestermodern: past present future, curated by Factory International and CHAOS SixtyNine with the support of CHANEL, a special edition of the Rendez-vous littéraires rue Cambon [Literary Rendezvous at Rue Cambon] was held at the Victoria Baths in Manchester.
In conversation with writer and critic Erica Wagner, author Jeanette Winterson, CHANEL ambassador and spokesperson Charlotte Casiraghi along with actress and CHANEL ambassador Kristen Stewart reveal what constitutes, according to them, the powers of literature. Together, they also talk about the books that are dear to them and the female literary figures who inspire them.
