Friends, this one was a bit FRAUGHT. While as kids we loved and delighted in the adventures of Mr. Henry Jones Jr (alias Indiana Jones) it's hard to ignore...so much in these movies. Join us for an unmoored traipse through the original trilogy with only a brief cameo by Temple of Doom because you know why. We don't really need to say it.

We all know why this was such a formative movie for a lot of people, do we really have to spell it out? Beyond the beautiful (H O T) and charming cast, there is sadly a lot to unpack here regarding colonization, culture appropriation, and exoticization in Hollywood. Ariel and Melinda reflect on their miniature costume recreations from the show. Which they totally finished on time and they are not feverishly trying to complete (!) They each picked one costume from Rings of Power and recreated the design on a mini scale model form. There was so much embroidery, beading, and block printing, oh my! And it added an extra layer to their respect for professional artists who do this work all day everyday. Listen in to hear all about it
