We all forget we’re human sometimes. While working on yourself and overcoming what you’ve been through is necessary, that process doesn’t define your life. Discovering who you are whether you’re a deep thinker, an old soul, or a highly sensitive person doesn’t mean you’re someone who needs "fixing."
You are here to learn how to love and accept yourself exactly where you are and for who you are. Think about the people in your life you love most: you understand them, you accept them, and you would never want to change them. It’s time to start offering that same grace to yourself. Learning to love yourself after years of judgment and shame is step one. Today, you are finally getting what you need to leave behind the story that you are broken and need fixing.

The silent treatment isn't a timeout, it's a punishment. If you've ever been left wondering what you did wrong while someone completely freezes you out, this podcast is for you. We’re breaking down the psychology behind the shutdown, why they choose to withhold, and how to reclaim your power from the silence.
I think we can say we've dealt with this and depending on the person and how far this goes will determine what you do next.

I swear, after what I went through, I was not about to let a permanent wall ruin anything good that was headed my way. After you've gone through a lot of disappointments, putting up walls is the hardest thing to overcome because your mind and heart are trying to avoid you feeling what you've felt for a long time: hurt.
I am going to share with you what I did to let Jason into my life and heart, and believe me, it took years!

In this episode, I’m getting real about a pattern I’ve spent years trying to break: the "Savior Complex." We’re taught that helping, fixing, and over-functioning is the ultimate way to show love, but what if it’s actually the very thing keeping you stuck?
I’m sharing my personal realization that it is not my job to make others happy, and why your need to "save" people is likely the biggest obstacle to your own peace of mind.
If you are exhausted from holding everyone else together, it is time to put that weight down and finally focus on you.

Today I’m joined by Erica Navarro, a woman who navigated a long-term marriage, a painful betrayal, and a complex divorce, all while maintaining her composure and, most importantly, her inner peace.
Erica’s story is a powerful look at what happens when the reality of a double life finally comes to light. After 27 years together, she discovered that her husband had been living a separate life for nearly a decade, fueled by manipulation and gaslighting.
We sit down to talk about the hard stuff; the gaslighting, the betrayal and how to let go and forgive when it is the hardest thing in the world to do. How to move on and how to rebuild her new life.

In this episode, I’m joined by Joanna O’Brien, a mother of five who spent over 30 years building a life based on faith and sacrifice, only to discover a reality she never could have imagined. After navigating a marriage marked by gaslighting and emotional abuse, Joanna was hit with the ultimate series of "red flags": massive tax debt, financial ruin, and a betrayal that hit close to home.
Joanna opens up about the brutal transition from being a stay-at-home mom to finding herself in her 50s, starting over from scratch with limited resources and a stolen sense of security.

The "Yes" era is officially over. For years, we prioritized everyone else’s comfort over our own peace. But hitting 40 brings a certain kind of magic: the realization that "No" is a complete sentence and your time is a finite resource.
This week we are talking about what happens to women after 40 that makes them start putting themselves first and stop the people pleasing. The freedom and confidence that comes when you are ready to put you first.

We talk about the heartbreak of losing a partner, but we rarely talk about the "Secondary Loss" that happens when the people you called family suddenly turn their backs. For years, you shared holidays, good times, and milestones with them only to be treated like a stranger the moment the relationship ends.
When you are the one who was betrayed, the silence from your in-laws and “friends” feels like a second abandonment, which it is. It’s a layered trauma that forces you to grieve not just a marriage, but an entire village.

Whether you left or they did, watching your ex jump quickly into another relationship is never easy. It can make you feel like your relationship didn't matter—and the worst part is when they go back to the life they had before you. Living in the same apartment building, seeing them live that old life except you’ve been replaced.
You find yourself comparing, wondering why you couldn't make them happy when this new person seemingly can. Or, maybe you just want them to suffer because you’re suffering. Either way, you can get stuck in a cycle of anger and resentment that isn't a good look. Today, we’re going to make sure that doesn't happen, because you deserve better than to allow this person to have that kind of control over how you feel about yourself.

When life changes and you can’t control what’s happening, most of us go straight into resistance. Accepting what is isn’t easy especially when you’re knee-deep in pain.
What happens for a lot of people is they get stuck. Stuck in the anger. Stuck in the bitterness. Stuck replaying the story over and over in their minds, trying to figure it out, trying to make it make sense. And because they can’t accept what happened, they never fully move forward.
But acceptance doesn’t mean you like what happened. It doesn’t mean it was okay. And it definitely doesn’t mean someone gets off the hook.
It simply means you soften the internal battle that’s making your healing harder than it needs to be.
In todays podcast we are going to disucss it all! Thanks for listening!www.StephanieLynLifeCoaching.com

Have you spent your whole life being the reliable one, the mediator, or the "emotional glue" of your family? If you grew up in an environment where you had to carry weight that wasn't yours, you might be experiencing Responsibility Trauma. In this podcast, we dive deep into why some of us feel a constant, heavy obligation to fix everyone else’s problems and why it’s so hard to finally put that weight down.
We explore parentification, the "mature for their age" label, and how to start healing from the exhaustion of over-functioning.

What actually makes a relationship last—and why do so many people repeat the same painful patterns? In this episode, we break down what healthy relationships are really built on (hint: it’s not chemistry alone).
We dive into the subtle, often hidden unhealthy patterns that don’t show up as red flags at first, and why taking responsibility for your own growth is essential before you can truly meet “the one.”

If you feel wiped out after a breakup or divorce, it makes sense. Losing a relationship can take more out of you than people realize.
This isn’t just heartbreak. It’s emotional burnout.
You didn’t just lose a person. You lost routines, safety, future plans, and the version of life you thought you were building. On top of that, you’re still expected to function like nothing happened.
This is about what happens when that weight finally catches up to you and how you can begin to heal when you’re running on empty.

I know we all want to think everyone else is the problem, but they are not. I know this is going to trigger some people. That is not to say that you are the reason for the treatment you got — NO!
But if you saw their red flags and didn’t run, that’s your problem. If you had low expectations because of what you’ve been through, not your fault… but it kind of is.
Today, we are going to start the first step toward healing, and that is figuring out what needs to change so this doesn’t happen to you again.

We all carry wounds with us some we know about, some we’ve buried. And when we don’t heal them, they show up in our lives in ways we don’t expect. They pull in the wrong people, lower our self-worth, and make us settle because we assume we can’t have what we really want.
These wounds often start in childhood, but they can also form later through heartbreak, hard seasons, or major life changes.
In this episode, we talk about how these wounds shape you, how they keep you stuck, and what it really takes to heal so they stop running your life.

Reinvention periods in your life are all about self-reflection, growth, and evolution. And one of the clearest signs that it’s time for change is when you finally realize you’ve been the fixer. You’re the one everyone turns to for comfort, solutions, and support. It’s a role you’ve played so well your entire life.
You tell yourself you’re just being a good person, but the truth is, you’ve become the ultimate enabler. And it’s not really about helping others it’s about easing your own anxiety and the discomfort that comes from not feeling safe.
In today’s episode, we’re diving into why being the fixer isn’t actually helping, and how to start breaking that pattern so you can shift the focus back to your own growth, peace, and healing.
