In this episode I speak with Leah.
Leah is a Mother to her daughter Amara Rose, whose birth brought so much healing and a deep unravelling of all that she knew as she crossed over from maiden to mother.
A planned free birth turned into a hospital birth, and with it so many lessons. A mind bending experience that will forever be a great teacher.
Outside of Motherhood, Leah is a musician, front lady and songwriter of Eora based band Kyoshi. Writing, creating and performing has always been her greatest gift. Using her words and voice to express her experience of the world and touch others.
Leah is also a sound healing facilitator, a huge journey in itself that has invited so much expansion in her self work through her study and practice. Leah has also taught music for over a decade, working predominantly for herself, sharing her joy and passion of music with children, teens and adults.
Navigating motherhood as a single parent and stepping into a new version of herself has been deeply life altering. Experiencing matresence in a society that has lost its reverence to mothers and connection to the feminine is a challenge, to say the least. But we show up every day with presence, compassion and love, and continue to surrender to the beautiful chaos.
I hope you enjoy this episode!

In this episode I have a candid conversation with Donna on all things creativity in Motherhood. We dive deep into how we can honour ourselves our creative life force when we are deep in a Season of giving.
Donna is a mother, remedial bodyworker by trade, creative and passionate surfer. She lives in Noosa Queensland, with her husband, 3.5 year old son and 12 year old kelpie Billie.
She grew up in Perth WA, before moving to Margaret River meeting her husband and then traveling around Australia to land and fall in love with Noosa 5.5 years ago. It is here she and her husband and are now long term renovating their home while balancing family, restoration time and her and her husband’s business ventures.
Donna has been in the remedial bodywork industry for 15 years, in the past few years since becoming a mother passions have transformed and she has just birthed her new business ‘girl at the sea.’ A line of high quality and sustainable hats and tees.

Lizzie is a free-birthing, unschooling Mother to three wild children leading an intuitive and feminine life against the grain in the highlands surrounded by cows.
In this episode she shares the birth of her third baby, a raw and simple birth with only her family present.
We discuss the impact that social media has (the positive and the negative) on how we birth and parent and how even natural tools used in the birth space can become an intervention if not used with intention.
I hope you enjoy this episode.
