An episode filled with hatchet burying and blade sharpening. The major event being that Brittney finally files divorce papers one day before Jax's release, and we all breathe a sign of relief. The J-trio of Janet, Jason, and Jasmine, plus Melissa, mend their friendship wound by shifting blame onto Kristen, a choice that will no doubt have consequences. Later, as Kristen tries to confront Janet for talking crap after claiming they'd made peace, we're again reminded of the value of Scheana because she tells everyone what's being said about them. We learn more about what Michelle has been dealing with in her personal life, which only makes Jesse's behavior towards her more disgusting. Brittany's one "noight" at the bar she helped create includes awkward moments for Jax loyalists, and for Michelle, who has begun to feel that her ex is on par with Jax but she hasn't gotten the same level of support.

The journey of former Facebook/Meta executive Sarah Wynn-Williams continues as we review highlights and takeaways from Chapters 33-37. As Sarah slowly makes her return to work after a complicated delivery with her second child, her manager, Joel, maintains his dual status as the least likeable person in the book and as a cautionary tale for any workplace. The outcome of the 2016 election displays the undeniable power of Facebook/Meta in swaying perceptions and opinions to once again uplift any political underdog, for the right price. Coming to grips with that influence and connection to Trump's win in 2016 is something Mark struggles with, until he realizes that unbridled power could also enable any aspirations of his own. A chilling segment that ends with the author feeling sure of her intent to leave the company as soon as possible.

After watching seemingly endless footage from people and reporters in Los Angeles, a rant about the militarized immigration raids that have resulted in escalating violence and federalizing the National Guard. Around the 6 minute mark, we get into the timeline of events that kicked off multiple raids in a Sanctuary City before comparing perspectives of residents with the opposing narrative being presented by the administration. The second half of the pod delves into the messy Elon v Donald breakup heard round the world, complete with timeline and reenacted online posts. We wrap up with a rapid fire of failures in fascist policies that have now been conveniently overshadowed by the L.A. raids. BONUS: a history side quest into Seneca Village and the Chavez Ravine, and how ANDOR fans recognize these plotlines

Jason and Janet's profound disappointment with Jasmine over the ring rumor takes center stage as the three J's meet up with the group for a beach bonfire where their friendship goes up in flames. Accusations that Jasmine made up the rumor take the discussion sideways, and after Jasmine reaches a boiling point, we all witness Janet get roasted alongside the group's S'mores. Zach and Kristen tell Britney she holds them to a higher standard than Janet, Danny and Nia continue to debate moving and having another child as we learn how ripped Danny is, and Sheana & Brock go to great lengths, and girths, to demonstrate their value. Throughout, Jax pulls more crap as we all root for Britney's independence - and safety.

A special T.A.C.O. Tuesday episode that starts with drama concerning a rapidly aging incontinent man who can't grow facial hair or dodge a punch, before shifting to concerns about increased data collection, MAHA's AI hallucinations, why communications from the CDC were a good thing, and Pam Bondi v the ADA (if performed by Jennifer Coolidge). Then, we shift to cover a Fyre fest inspired meme coin dinner, the value of Job Corps, and more denials of due process as communities unite to object. Additionally we delve into Ukraine's 'Operation Spiderwebs', the National Science Foundation, free classes at Harvard, and details about a slew of recent presidential pardons, including for Todd and Julie Chrisley.

A recap of Chapters 27-32. As the company formerly known as Facebook and now known as Meta gets bolder when dealing with world-wide government regulation, author Sarah Wynn-Williams recounts her efforts to caution executives about the repercussions of capitalizing on inflammatory campaign ads and misinformation. While pregnant with her second child, she's faced with new challenges that range from having one boss pressure her to share a bed as another emails her about a lewd sex act, all while she tries in vain to continue to "lean in". When more staff members are left to pay the price for negligent practices, she finally comes to the realization that she has to leave the company, but a traumatic birth in the developed country with the highest maternal mortality rate leaves her physically and mentally depleted. These chapters also recount Facebook's ill-fated attempts to implement internet.org, fly a drone, and partner with SpaceX to launch a satellite.

Danny is the focus of this episode where we see a different side of Jason confront him and put their close friendship in peril to do so, before he finally sits down with Jasmine and Melissa to learn more about why they were so disturbed by his actions on Halloween. Kristen comes to the aid of Danny and Nia by sharing a rumor that alludes to Jason not being so perfect, and that rumor kicks off a whole new beef between Kristen and Janet. Brittany's effort to let Jax see Cruz while still in treatment backfires when he tells her that he's going to lease a condo and when she learns that he hadn't been paying their mortgage. She announces to the group that she is done with him forever - and we all hope so.

The recap of Chapters 19-26 covers Facebook's 2015 journey to Davos for the World Economic Forum (WEF) where author Sarah Wynn-Williams describes the various ways in which wealthy participants flexed their importance while lamenting the state of humanity. As she continues to get Mark opportunities to meet with world leaders and speak at United Nations events, she learns about a new desire for Facebook to ingratiate themselves into the campaign efforts of politicians around the globe. She describes Facebook's tax deferment practice, referred to as the "double Irish", and explains a major effort to recruit new users disguised as altruism, internet.org, and the valid concerns that led to it being rebranded as Free Basics. Throughout, she continues to share stories that enlighten us further about the kinds of people and motivations that built Meta, and her realization that any hope for them to make the world a better place was futile. The group's last night in Santa Barbara turns into a confrontation of Nia and Danny about whether they made separate efforts to conceal his drinking. When Danny awakens, he finds Nia in a maelstrom of criticism and doubt, one that continues to churn throughout the episode due to Janet and Jasmine's concerns. Kristen and Luke show us their new rental home and discuss plans for the future as Luke shops for a ring. Brittany organizes a dinner for the ladies to apologize to Nia, where they learn the heartbreaking origins of why it's her instinct to try to see the positive side of things...an emotional moment that still doesn't appease everyone. Delving into the details of a massive tax and deportation policy bill, refugee policy hypocrisy, the Supreme Court being asked to redefine birthright citizenship, a Presidential tour of the Middle East, and his visit from South Africa's leader. The haunting and heartbreaking story of Adriana Smith, and why it has women, and the people who love them, very concerned. Then, as tornados and storms devastated several states, the tragedy was met with silence from our verbose dear leader, and presented with understaffed government resources. The futility and ruse of DOGE, James Comey's seashell snafu, coddling convicts and insurrectionists, and badass alerts at the Library of Congress. News of an affidavit from Justin Baldoni's legal team sparked my interest and led to dive #18 that covers a tea-filled allegation that Blake Lively wanted Taylor Swift to publicly endorse her, or else. From there we delve into a September 2024 lawsuit filed by the defunct Vanzan LLC, seemingly used to initiate a subpoena for the trove of texts from former Wayfarer PR rep, Stephanie Jones. In addition, the Time 100 Most Influential People of 2025, including Blake's write-up and a speech she gave at the event. BONUS: a rant about plantations

The Santa Barbara trip picks up the morning after their explosive healing circle with Jesse again dedicating his day to drinking, apparently leaning in to his "let the games begin" mentality. The omen of a broken party bus won't deter the group from making it to a wine tasting where Jesse asks Michelle to talk - but offers no apology for the billionaire rumor. As things erupt between them, Michelle spills grievances and accusations about their finances, along with shared issues of distrust and suspicion. Nia and Danny have to weather a storm of criticism for downplaying his drinking to keep up a perfect image. BONUS: Recap of the Aftershow

The trip to Santa Barbara kicks off with tension between Michelle and Jesse but hopes for Brittany to have a fun and peaceful time while Jax is away - hopes that are dashed as he begins rage texting while they're en route. Kristen and Luke organize a racecar outing and a healing circle as the trip's host, Jesse, begins drinking and focuses on either complaining about Michelle or putting in effort to irritate her. Jason's disappointing behavior when Jesse talks down to Janet means Luke now stands alone as the only man to not engage in scandal or choose bros over his partner. Zach and Janet finally make peace, despite the viewers learning that something awful was said off-camera about Janet when Zach was "blackout" drunk...and Brittany shared that with Janet. Part Two of a thorough review of Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams picks up with Chapters 12-18. As the author begins to experience life working for Facebook as a new mother, the reality of how that milestone is viewed by her colleagues becomes apparent. More equally chilling and amusing insights about Sheryl and Mark are shared, including her experiences being included in Mark's luxurious travel, his private jet preferences, and the work, or lack thereof, that went into courting various governments. Awkward executive level dynamics and personalities continue to be revealed via Sarah's outsider's perspective as we witness her slowly becoming more jaded with each passing chapter. A conversation with friend of the pod, and longtime Kyle supporter, Sarah Galli about season highlights, lowlights, and where the show goes from here. From guarded storylines, hypersensitive topics, and untouchable dramas, the reality of this reality show is that it's been lacking for a few seasons. We discuss all the ways The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills devolved into a surface level farce where viewers are expected to be thankful for crumbs.
