This is my last solo cast in my LA home studio. Iâm sitting here surrounded by boxes, bags, and so many memoriesâtaking time to reflect on my inner world. Because in this season of my life, Iâm not running from anything. Iâm simply listening to Spirit whisper: thereâs more, itâs time. Iâve lived in LA on and off for the past seven years. My friends are here. My life is here. But now, itâs time to enter a new chapterâa chapter of expansion, love, sacred sites, and mysteries.
Before I had this platform, this podcast, and all of you, I wasnât on a spiritual path. I didnât grow up thinking about spirituality or even seeking it. My only desire at the time was to bring my period back, heal my body, and stop being in pain. I had gone through perimenopause at 21. I couldnât digest food. My body was shutting down. That desire to heal became the gateway. And that path took me into the mind-body connection, and eventually into the spiritual journey.
And every one of those hardships became the exact fire I needed to walk through to become who I am today.
So we ask ourselvesâcan we spiritually grow without going through such hard lessons and heartbreak? Is there a way to move through life not with constant resistance, but with a sense of ease?

Iâve been on the yogic path since I was about 12 years old, when I first saw a sign in my town outside of Boston that simply read: YOGA. Something deep within me lit up. I turned to my mom and said, âYou need to take me there.âđ§đ˝ââď¸â¤ď¸âđĽ
It led me into the world of hot yoga, the Yoga Sutras, Ayurveda, writing books, teaching dharma, and guiding goddesses around the world. And yet, before all of thatâbefore I even knew this path was possibleâthere was a show my mom and I used to watch called Yogi Cameron: Model Guru on a little wellness channel called ZLiving.
We were obsessed.đđž
Here was this model sharing about meditation, Ayurvedic living, energy, digestion, and a way of life we didnât even know was possible to talk about publicly.

After my marriage ended, I was grasping for something to hold onto. My friends were like, âCome to Bali, itâs the perfect place to heal!â Waterfalls, ecstatic dance, sunshineâyes, please. So I packed my bags and flew across the world, thinking Iâd be wrapped in adventure and good vibes.
But Spirit had other plans.
The very next day, my friends had to leave the country unexpectedly. And just like that, I was alone. In Bali. đ
The one thing I was most afraid ofâI now had to face. No distractions, no one to lean on. Just me, my thoughts, and this wide-open unknown.
And Iâm not gonna lie to you guys⌠it got dark. đśâđŤď¸
On Christmas Eve, I knew I couldnât stay in the hotel room any longer. I needed to just be around people, even if they were strangers. So I pulled up Hotels.com, andâliterally everything was booked. Except for one hotel. Brand new. Opened that very day.
I was like, âOkay, Spirit, I see you.â đ
So I booked it.
And when I arrived? I saw someone I knew. Someone I had loosely met years agoâturns out, he was the owner. đ¤Ż
Suddenly, I was surrounded by the most beautiful, unexpected community. A group of people, all in Bali for different reasons, all navigating their own transformations. And just like that, I was part of something new.
And then it hit me.
Because I was surrounded by new peopleâpeople who knew nothing about my pastâI had the opportunity to leave my old self behind. I didnât have to explain my story, my heartbreak, my identity. I could just⌠be.
And that meant I could become whoever I wanted to be.
For the first time, I wasnât confined by past expectations. I could experiment. I could grow. I could shift in ways I never allowed myself to before. And that realization opened up my entire world.
Because if I could leave that version of myself behind⌠then I could live anywhere I wanted.
I could become anyone I wanted.
