This one started as a draftโฆ. something I wrote and almost didnโt share. It made its way to my newsletter, then here. Not Everything Needs a Title is just me, speaking from that quiet, uncertain spaceโฆโฆ

We donโt really talk about guilt enough. That quiet heaviness that follows us around after a mistake, the late-night thoughts that whisper weโve failed again, the feeling of praying but still wondering if Allah hears us when weโve slipped so many times. In this episode of Fragments of Us, I sit with that reality, the guilt that sits with us, and reflect on how it shapes our hearts, how it can weigh us down, and how it can also lead us back to Allah. This is a reminder for anyone who feels unworthy, tired of falling, or unsure if they can still be forgiven.

Iโm so excited to share something new with you, a fresh series on the Hijabi Diaries called ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฌ. This first episode,
๐ป๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐, is where it all begins.
If youโve been following my work through deen_journals on instagram, you already know how much I love curating reflective stories, soft pieces of life, faith, and memory that remind us of Allah in the simplest ways. & now Iโve started curating personal stories, just for you; (your experience; my words). This series is an extension of that heart. So if you enjoy the reflections here, youโll find even more at Deen Journals, where we gather these fragments in writing, journaling, and shared reminders. May these little pieces of us become a source of comfort and reflection for you too. Amฤซn

after holding onto this topic for a long time, Iโm finally speaking on it. This episode was sparked by a deep, soul-stretching conversation with my friend Ilham, the kind where you put yourself in someone elseโs shoes and speak from a place of honesty, not ego.
itโs a reminder that Allah has written a unique path and provision for each of us, you donโt have to take what isnโt yours to shine.

They say, โYouโre too young to cover like that.
In this episode, I share what it means to wear the Niqab in my 20s, want love without apology, and walk proud in a world that doesnโt get it โ but thatโs okay.
Because the one whoโs meant for me will see meโฆ even behind the veil.๐๐ธ

This episode is for the girls who are always holding it down. Always listening, always giving, always trying to be okay โ even when theyโre not.
Itโs about that quiet kind of tired. The kind that sleep doesnโt fix. The kind that builds up from always being โthe strong one.โ
Iโm sharing some thoughts on what it really means to feel overwhelmed, to trust Allah while also feeling confused, and to admit youโre tired โ without guilt.
And towards the end, I introduced something close to my heart โ Becoming Her. A book for the Muslim girls who are just trying to be seen, trying to be good, and trying to make sense of it all.
If youโve ever felt like youโre holding too much, I hope this episode holds you too.
May Allah Heal Us All, Amฤซn ๐

O Allah, forgive Maryam Ndanusa Dabogi, have mercy on her, pardon her, grant her ease, honor her resting place, widen her grave, and cleanse her with water, snow, and hail, as You purify a white garment from stains. O Allah, replace her home with one better than her home, and replace her spouse (m with one better than her spouse. Admit her into Paradise, and protect her from the punishment of the grave and the Fire.

This oneโs for the quiet souls, the ones who move in the shadows, giving without taking, Weโll sit with the weight of humility, the beauty of anonymity, and the power of actions done purely for the sake of Allah SWT. No applause, no recognitionโjust the raw truth of what it means to act when no oneโs watching. ๐๐ธ

Just pouring my heart on โHijabisโ as normal human beings.
Displaying our bodies in a way that is haram will not bring us closer to finding a spouse. In fact, it can often lead to the opposite โ a lack of self-respect, a lack of dignity, and a lack of true fulfillmentโฆโฆ. ๐๐ธ

In this episode, Bilqees explored the spiritual significance of hijab, and how it's often misunderstood in today's world. Also discussed how hijab is not just a piece of cloth, but a symbol of faith, identity, and resilience, also talked about how hijab can be seen as an obstacle, but how it's actually an opportunity for growth, self-expression, and connection with our faith and community.๐

In This Episode, Bilqees Speaks about Us Having A Purpose In This Dunya As Muslims. As Muslims, we believe that Allah Almighty created everything that there is. ุฎูู ุงูุณู ูุงุช ูุงูุงุฑุถ ูู ุง ุจูููู ุง He made the heavens and the earth and everything in between; He made all things. We believe as Muslims that Allah is perfect, He lacks nothing, in fact He is infinite in all His perfections.
the purpose of life is about: to know, love, and serve Allah in this world and we’ll be happy with Him forever in the next. And working all day, watching the TV, getting a bigger car, going on three holidays a year, having more suits… they won’t bring us happiness. - Laat meer zien
