Luke 5: 1 - 11
1 One day as Jesus was preaching on the shore of the Sea of Galilee,a great crowds pressed in on him to listen to the word of God.
2 He noticed two empty boats at the waterâs edge, for the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets.
3 Stepping into one of the boats, Jesus asked Simon its owner, to push it out into the water. So he sat in the boat and taught the crowds from there.
4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, âNow go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish.â
5 âMaster,â Simon replied, âwe worked hard all last night and didnât catch a thing. But if you say so, Iâll let the nets down again.â
6 And this time their nets were so full of fish they began to tear!
7 A shout for help brought their partners in the other boat, and soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking.
8 When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, âOh, Lord, please leave meâIâm such a sinful man.â
9 For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him.
10 His partners, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, were also amazed.
Jesus replied to Simon, âDonât be afraid! From now on youâll be fishing for people!â
11 And as soon as they landed, they left everything and followed Jesus.

The faith is the assurance/confidence of the things hopped for, the conviction of the things not seen.

Daniel 6:10
10 Daniel always prayed to God three times every day. Three times every day, he bowed down on his knees to pray and praise God. Even though Daniel heard about the new law, he still went to his house to pray. He went up to the upper room of his house and opened the windows that faced toward Jerusalem. Then Daniel bowed down on his knees and prayed just as he always had done.
Genesis 41:51-52
âJoseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh. âFor,â he said, âGod has made me forget all my hardship and all my fatherâs house.â The name of the second he called Ephraim, âFor God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.ââ
Psalm 103:2, NLT
Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me.
Deuteronomy 8:11-18 New Living Translation (NLT)
Beware that in your plenty you do not forget the LORD your God and disobey his commands, regulations, and decrees that I am giving you today. For when you have become full and prosperous and have built fine homes to live in, and when your flocks and herds have become very large and your silver and gold have multiplied along with everything else, be careful! Do not become proud at that time and forget the LORD your God, who rescued you from slavery in the land of Egypt.

What is the mission of the Holy Spirit on this earth for us?
Mission of the Holy Spirit is to:
1. Give us Confidence in our Salvation
Job 17:3 âGive me, O God, the pledge you demand.
Who else will put up security for me?
Ephesians 1:13, 14 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are Godâs possessionâto the praise of his glory.
This is the Spiritual blessings
2. Empowers with Godly Character
Galatians 5:22,23 - Fruits of the Holy Spirit
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
3. Gives us Power
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.â
4. Deepens our love for Jesus
Romans 5:5 And hope does not put us to shame, because Godâs love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
5. Teaches us Knowledge of Truth, riches of Christ
1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeitâjust as it has taught you, remain in him.
6. He gives us Holiness
Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me
Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of Godâs mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to Godâthis is your true and proper worship.
7. He teaches us how to pray, Prayer is the matter of heart
Romans8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

Eph: 4: 17-30
17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.
19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.
20 That, however, is not the way of life you learned 21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26 âIn your anger do not sinâ[d]: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. 28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.
29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

1 The Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
2He existed in the beginning with God.
3God created everything through him,
and nothing was created except through him.
4The Word gave life to everything that was created,
and his life brought light to everyone.
5The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.
6God sent a man, John the Baptist,
7to tell about the light so that everyone might believe because of his testimony.
8John himself was not the light; he was simply a witness to tell about the light.
9The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
10He came into the very world he created, but the world didnât recognize him.
11He came to his own people, and even they rejected him.
12But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
13They are rebornânot with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.
14So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Fatherâs one and only Son.
15John testified about him when he shouted to the crowds, âThis is the one I was talking about when I said, âSomeone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.ââ
16From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.
17For the law was given through Moses, but Godâs unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.
18No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Fatherâs heart. He has revealed God to us.

John 10:27-30
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
Joshuah 1: 11 b ESV10 So Joshua ordered the officers of the people:
11 âGo through the camp and tell the people, âGet your provisions ready. Three days from now you will cross the Jordan here to go in and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you for your own.ââ
12 But to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joshua said,
13 âRemember the command that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you after he said, âThe Lord your God will give you rest by giving you this land.â
14 Your wives, your children and your livestock may stay in the land that Moses gave you east of the Jordan, but all your fighting men, ready for battle, must cross over ahead of your fellow Israelites.
15 You are to help them until the Lord gives them rest, as he has done for you, and until they too have taken possession of the land the Lord your God is giving them. After that, you may go back and occupy your own land, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you east of the Jordan toward the sunrise.â

Isaiah 60: 19-22
The sun will no more be your light by day,
nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you,
for the Lord will be your everlasting light,
and your God will be your glory.
20 Your sun will never set again,
and your moon will wane no more;
the Lord will be your everlasting light,
and your days of sorrow will end.
21 Then all your people will be righteous
and they will possess the land forever.
They are the shoot I have planted,
the work of my hands,
for the display of my splendor.
22 The least of you will become a thousand,
the smallest a mighty nation.
I am the Lord;
in its time I will do this swiftly.â -
Psalms 67:5-6
May the peoples praise you, God;
may all the peoples praise you.The land yields its harvest;
God, our God, blesses us.Psalms 68: 19
Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.

'When I turned to see who was speaking to me, I saw seven gold lampstands. And standing in the middle of the lampstands was someone like the Son of Man. He was wearing a long robe with a gold sash across his chest. His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were like flames of fire. His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice thundered like mighty ocean waves. He held seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp two-edged sword came from his mouth. And his face was like the sun in all its brilliance. When I saw him, I fell at his feet as if I were dead. But he laid his right hand on me and said, âDonât be afraid! I am the First and the Last. I am the living one. I died, but lookâI am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave. '

'Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.â
John 6:27
' After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. So Jesus said to the twelve, âDo you want to go away as well?â Simon Peter answered him, âLord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.â '
John 6:66-69
Mark 10:17
âTeacher, all these I have kept from my youth.â 21 And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, âYou lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.â 22 Disheartened by the saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
' âThe kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. âAgain, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. '
Matthew 13:44-46

'As they were climbing the hill to the town, they met some young women coming out to draw water. So Saul and his servant asked, âIs the seer here today?â âYes,â they replied. âStay right on this road. He is at the town gates. He has just arrived to take part in a public sacrifice up at the place of worship. Hurry and catch him before he goes up there to eat. Prophet is going to a high place to eat.
1 Samuel 9:11-13
Just then Saul approached Samuel at the gateway and asked, âCan you please tell me where the seerâs house is?â âI am the seer!â Samuel replied. âGo up to the place of worship ahead of me. We will eat there together, and in the morning Iâll tell you what you want to know and send you on your way. And donât worry about those donkeys that were lost three days ago, for they have been found. And I am here to tell you that you and your family are the focus of all Israelâs hopes.â '

Numbers 11: 4-10
4 The rabble with them began to crave other food, and again the Israelites started wailing and said, âIf only we had meat to eat! 5 We remember the fish we ate in Egypt at no costâalso the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic. 6 But now we have lost our appetite; we never see anything but this manna!â
7 The manna was like coriander seed and looked like resin. 8 The people went around gathering it, and then ground it in a hand mill or crushed it in a mortar. They cooked it in a pot or made it into loaves. And it tasted like something made with olive oil. 9 When the dew settled on the camp at night, the manna also came down.
10 Moses heard the people of every family wailing at the entrance to their tents. The Lord became exceedingly angry, and Moses was troubled.
