It was 1975 when Quinnipiac University launched its men's hockey program, and the players didn't even have their own ice rink for games. They played in Division III at a local high school. Fast-forward 48 years and they're D1 national champions, defeating powerhouse Minnesota just 10 seconds into overtime in April 2023.
This podcast takes you on the team's journey from its humble beginnings, to the hiring of current coach Rand Pecknold in 1994, to the nail-biting championship game and into the future.
