About our guest:
Martin Whiskin has been working as a voice actor for about 5 years, having taken a left turn from 2 decades as a database manager. Before that he pierced ears, sold advertising space and packaged up newspapers. There was also a short period as a champion long jumper.
With VO training, he became fascinated with being able to produce so many different and complex emotions with his voice, claiming that up until that point heâd just used it to make stupid noises.
He loves music, comedy and knows quite a lot about 80s and 90s wrestling.

True Sight helps to treat and prevent five debilitating diseases that affect more than a billion people globally.
These are known as neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) and two of them are a major cause of preventable blindness around the world, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.
True Sight works with thousands of local volunteers and has distributed more than a billion donated treatments to protect people against NTDs. They have helped to eliminate trachoma in several countries, including The Gambia, Ghana, Malawi, Benin, Mali and most recently Pakistan.

About our guest:
AndrĂ© Refig is a bilingual actor and voiceover with a native accent in both French and English and he works roughly 50-50 in each. He specialises in the corporate and video game sectors, but has also voiced TV and radio commercials, audio dramas, animations, ELT, audiobooks, with plenty of dubbing and ADR. Game franchises heâs worked on include Assassinâs Creed, Cyberpunk, Dying Light, Brawl Stars, Formula 1, Age of Empires and more.
On screen heâs been in TV series such as Killing Eve and We Were the Lucky Ones, and heâs been treading the boards professionally since 2008, most proudly having been in the original cast of the current West End production of Cabaret. I thought hiding in the forest was a good idea. Turns out I was wrong.
Ahead, through the gap in the leaves I could see the dirt road. I prayed Iâd been wrong, that nothing was coming after me. I'd heard stories about this road, and this forest. People being robbed, killed, and it was certainly not my first choice for a hiding place. However, it was better than the narrow roads where I could easily get cornered. I knew my mistake, staying too late at the alehouse.

When your baby or child is unwell, it is a really worrying time. Sometimes it can be hard to know what to do, but itâs important to trust your instincts and get the right help.
Strep A is a common type of bacteria that is found on the skin and in the throat. Most strep A infections are mild and easily treated.
Scarlet fever is caused by strep A. It is usually a mild illness that is highly infectious. It causes a distinctive pink-red rash and flu-like symptoms and is treated with antibiotics.

Victoria Riley is an Essex-based voice actor with a lovely Lancashire accent. Originally from near Blackburn, she moved to London to go to drama school and hasn't found her way home yet. Victoria loves animals, especially her big, beautiful rescue dog Ringo. When she's not in the studio, she and Ringo can usually be found roaming Epping Forest and foraging for berries!
