  • As entrepreneurs, it’s important to be concise and brief when you communicate your business and your offers. By doing so you make it easy for your partners, potential customers, and general public to understand clearly what you do, how you help people, and how they will benefit from working with you. The more powerfully you do this, the more customers you will have and the more sales you will generate.

  • The purpose of your lead magnet is not to generate leads and collect random people for your email list.

    The purpose of your lead magnet is to attract people who would also be interested in your paid offer by providing value related to something you are selling.

    If your lead magnet is misaligned and not directly tied to the problem you are solving in your offer, you are likely bringing in the wrong people who aren’t interested in your offer or worse, you are losing them altogether.

  • If you are an entrepreneur, you are in the people business. And loving on our clients and customers is one the best ways to make our clients feel appreciated. When done right, offering thanks fosters loyalty and deeper connections, also often resulting in increased revenue.

    Offering thanks to your customers is one of the most overlooked and underrated things you can do to drive your business. It’s also one of the BIGGEST GAPS I see with businesses, and a huge area of growth opportunity for almost everyone.

    We often focus most of our time, energy, and attention on inbound marketing and acquiring new customers. But the truth is, the customers you already have are far more likely to spend more money and time with you when you nurture the relationship – especially through an authentic and strategic thank you plan. The result of this done well is your customers frequenting your shop or business more often, staying longer, and spending more. And on top of that, when people are happy, what do they do – they tell EVERYONE about it. Also, another win!

  • In our businesses, we spend a tremendous amount of time and energy doing “all the things” in an effort to continue growing our business. But there really is an easier way to grow without doing “all the things” (and to grow more quickly). It’s by optimizing your business to create more while doing less. Because the truth is, only a small percentage of things that we do (actions we take) in our business actually move the needle and create results (more specifically, it’s close to only 20% of our inputs create the majority of our output).
