Bij BitesWeLove maken we gezondere alternatieven voor ongezonde snacks. Dit doen we door bij de ontwikkeling van onze bites goed te letten op het beperken van vet, zout en suiker en genoeg vezels en eiwitten. Dat is natuurlijk best een uitdaging, want hoe zorg je ervoor dat het ook nog eens lekker blijft?
We zien binnen de tussendoortjes en snack categorie een overvloed aan gezondheidsclaims zoals ‘30% minder vet’, ‘rijk aan proteïne’ of ‘zonder toegevoegd suiker’ op de verpakking staan. Maar wat is nou echt gezonder?
Wij denken dat de Nutriscore binnen deze categorie een interessante toevoeging kan zijn om consumenten te helpen een gezondere keuze te maken. Maar is dat wel echt zo?
Voordat we als BitesWeLove de Nutri-Score omarmen gaan we op onderzoek uit door met diverse experts uit de industrie in gesprek te gaan. Wat is de Nutri-Score eigenlijk? Wat is er goed aan en wat minder? Helpt het de consument echt een gezondere keuze te maken, of juist niet? Hoe kunnen we hier als leverancier het best mee om gaan, waar moeten we rekening mee houden? Met als eindconclusie: gaan we de Nutri-Score op onze verpakking voeren of niet?
