Forgiveness is one of the hardest acts of worship because it asks something from us before it changes anything around us.
Today's episode explores forgiveness through the lens of the Quran and Sunnah, reflecting on what it means to release our hearts to Allah without denying what we've lived through. We'll end with heartfelt duas asking Allah to soften our hearts, protect us from bitterness, and reward every sincere effort made for His sake.

Ya rabb, and some pain/losses arrive with a funeral.
While, others unfold in our lives subtly over months or years, leaving us wondering when everything changed.
In today's episode, we reflect on the story of Nabi Ya'qub عليه السلام and what his grief teaches us about bringing sorrow back to Allah. Together, we'll make heartfelt duas for the relationships that have changed, the people we continue loving, and the hope of being reunited in Jannah.
Whether you're grieving someone who has passed away, navigating a relationship that no longer feels the same, or learning how to trust Allah after loss, I pray these words become a source of comfort for your heart.

Family can become one of our greatest sources of comfort, and at times, one of our deepest tests.
In today's episode, we're talking about family hurt, the conversations we avoid, the grief we carry, and the hope Allah SWT gives us when relationships feel complicated. Together, we'll reflect on a beautiful hadith of the Prophet ﷺ before ending with ten heartfelt duas for our parents, marriages, siblings, children, and the people we continue loving for the sake of Allah.
May this episode remind you that no family story is beyond the mercy of Allah, and that every sincere dua you make is heard by the One who knows your heart completely.

Thank you for listening to this week's episode of Kind Notes with Halima.
After some time away, I'm grateful to finally be back behind the mic. In this episode, I share a little about the season I've been in, what Allah SWT has been teaching me through it, and why I'm so excited to invite you into something that has been on my heart for a long time.
If you've been longing to spend intentional time making dua, I would love for you to join me for The Dua Reset.
Each month, we gather as sisters to dedicate one hour to Allah SWT through reflection, guided prompts, and heartfelt dua. Together, we'll spend time with the stories of the Prophets, peace be upon them, reflect on what Allah teaches us through them, and write the duas our hearts have been needing.
Our July workshop is centred on family, exploring the relationships that shape us, the prayers we've been carrying for the people we love, and the hope that comes from placing every part of that before Allah.
I pray you'll join us.
