In case you donât know, let me explain the wedding. Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, a business tycoon who runs Reliance Industries which has interests in petrochemicals, oil and gas, telecom, retail and financial services. . His net worth is more than $123 billion. Mukesh inherited this business from his father, who started the company in 1966. Itâs a while trickle down nepo baby economics thing going on there. Because they just need to affirm the status (or, I suspect, have small tallywhackers) felt the need to throw a wedding that cost $325 million and lasted 6 months. Thatâs right, the festivities have been going on since March.

I just listened to his breakdown of the Libertarian National Convention. He confessed that the takeover was by the Mises Caucus within the Libertarian party was a failure given how out of control the convention and not to mention the woke presidential candidate that was nominated. Dave Smith took responsibility for it, claiming that his decision to not run caused the problem. Thatâs a bit of stretch to think the whole party sits on you shoulders - a comedian and podcaster. But aside from the lacking humility, it was amazing to watch him act like this was the first time he recognized how bat !@#$ crazy the party was. All the weirdos. All the chaos. The lack of organization. The lack of professionalism. But news flash: Itâs been like this forever.
What was really shocking was your complete and total lack of self-awareness.

Bitcoin also created the first consensus mechanism. When founder Satoshi Nakamotto developed it in 2008, it started the cryptocurrency revolution.
You may be asking what is a consensus mechanism? Good question. Itâs essentially a framework that keeps transactions secure. There eight different types of consensus mechanisms available today.
Weâre going to talk about the first two: proof of work and proof of stake since these are the two most widely used consensus mechanisms.

What do all these names have in common? Adams, Harrisons, Roosevelt, Bush,
Taft, Kennedy, Cuomo, Romney, Rockefeller, Huckabee.
These are just the big , well-known, household names in politics. Follow down the rabbit hole and youâll find most politicians had some sort of help. Maybe their dad wasnât a Kennedy or a Cuomo, but they were an elected politician or ran in the political circle .Which means lots of help with networking connections, fundraisingâŠAnd thatâs everything in politics.
But itâs not just elected officials and political parties that are chock full of nepo babies. Itâs also the media. The fourth estate is pretty weak when it comes to getting honest, real, unprivileged people in those positions. Ever wonder why the media canât hold elected politicians accountable?

Blockchains and mining - these may sound like buzzwords but they are an important part of the Bitcoin process. A blockchain simply facilitates and posts all Bitcoin transactions.
Think of Blockchain like a ledger -except his one is public. All transactions taking place are applied to this public ledger. Each block is simply a group of records. A block will contain other transactions taking place within a certain time period.
It is chained to another set of records and another and so on - making a continuous blockchain. Imagine looking at a spreadsheet and seeing one transaction after another. This would be the block. This would be chained to other sheets inside the spreadsheet. The block chain is nothing more than a linked set of records. These transactions are conducted, recorded, and secured using a series of computations.

Just because men make Bitcoin seem technical and complicated doesn't mean it is. Think about it⊠as viral Tik Tok audio goes, âhow hard can it be, the boys do it.â This series will compare Bitcoin and itâs process to things you use in everyday life, like purses, Uber, checks, and Costco. Everyone can understand how it works and what it does⊠because Bitcoin isnât just for the bros⊠itâs for the broads.
Before we talk about the problems that Bitcoin solves, let's first get a grasp on the nomenclature. Youâve probably heard the word cryptocurrency tossed around in tandem with Bitcoin. Whatâs the difference? Cryptocurrency is the generic term for digital or virtual currency that is secured by cryptography. Cryptography is a ten dollar word that means itâs almost impossible to counterfeit. It also means it canât be double spent, which is when you buy something in one place then try to use that money to buy something else before the transaction is verified. This is impossible in the fiat currency we have now. You canât do that with a dollar bill as it's a physical, tangible object. Once you spend it, itâs gone.
In short, cryptocurrency is the broad category of all digital currencies. Specifically it use blockchain technology on a peer-to-peer basis (more on what those things mean a little bit later). Bitcoin is merely a certain type of cryptocurrency.

IS HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF? Currently, only one president has served a discontinuous term. That man was President Grover Cleveland. The first term was from 1885 to 1889. He lost reelection. Then four years later he ran and won, serving his final term from 1893 to 1897. Although President Cleveland is the only one to do this, he may soon have to share the title with President Trump.
If youâre like me youâre probably saying, well, how did this happen? Are Trump and Cleveland scenarios similar? Could this more than century old hiccup in presidential elections happen once again?
