Jesus is known for many things. We call Him by many exalted names. But what about the other part of Jesus? Jesus was also fully human. How does this aspect of Him relate to us? One thing we know of for sure: one day every tongue will confess His precious name!

Have you ever been at a point in life where you think, "Enough is enough?" Most of us can say that we've been there (or that we are there now!). If you haven't gotten there yet, hold on--it's sure to come. However, Paul tells us that when the going gets tough, Jesus is more than enough. Believe that? We hope so. Let's reinforce that anyhow!

Doug Anderson, a Grammy-nominated, multi Dove award-winning singer from Lapel, IN, took time out of his busy schedule to share his talent with us. He sang, he told stories, and he led worship in our traditional service time.
He tours all over the world to sold-out venues as a soloist and member of Cana's Voice. He also traveled and was a founding member of the quartet Ernie Haase & Signature Sound for 13 years, a group made popular through the Gaither Homecoming Series. His 13 Dove Awards include Country Album of the Year, Country song of the year, and Male Vocalist. He has also been a part of two videos and one CD project to attain Gold status in Billboard sells.
Upon meeting him, I can say that he's the real deal. It was amazing worshiping with his leading. His connection with God evident as it should be in all our lives. -
Psalm 23 is a very popular passage. It's one of the many passages in the Bible that people inside and outside of the church can recognize. In only 6 verses, we learn about the peace of God by relating to him as a shepherd. What does this mean?

Roger and Sue went to Alaska after a couple of delays. While they were there, Roger couldn't help but be reminded of God's Word. How can the reflections of Alaska lead to his reflections on Alaska?

The word "hope" is maybe over-used in America. But when we get down to the roots and look at the word through the lens of Christ, the word becomes foundational rather than wishful. Christian hope is at the center of our new cancer care ministry in partnership with Our Journey of Hope. Let's unite together as we support those in the congregation and community as they battle through this disease.

Pastor Roger picks up where he left off last week. There are three ways we can be as Christians in relation to culture. The 10 commandments demonstrate one way, but Paul demonstrates another. How does transformation and renewal affect a Christian's life in today's cultural climate?

When it comes to culture, we can do one of three things. We can separate ourselves from it. We can merge with it--adapt to it. Or we can offer an alternative and "counter" it. Countering isn't always standing in direct opposition. Think of a "counter-offer" on a house. How do you reconcile your faith with the culture of today?

How do we spend our time? If we answer that question honestly, we may be surprised. Let's get our time back to where it needs to be spent. How do we do that? Roger shows us the way through God's word.

We celebrate Independence day on the fourth day of July each year. Today, on the seventh, we celebrate the true freedom that is in Christ. He who the Son sets free--that is the one that is free indeed!

This is the conclusion of the "A Place Called Heaven" series. You can't think about heaven without thinking about joy. Are you looking forward to the White Throne Judgment? OR will you be met with "None shall pass?" God is good and His joy is everlasting.

Tabitha. What do you know about this character in the Bible? I don't think most pastors do a series on Tabitha, but we are blessed by her involvement nonetheless. It is more than a story of resurrection. It is also a story about legacy and service. How can we learn from her?

A few months ago, Pastor Roger explored the choice that was made by Moses to venture into Canaan. Today, we talked about a different choice--the choice to follow God in all of our lives today. One of my favorite bold statements came from Joshua--the successor of Moses. Who do you choose to serve this day?

Cinco de Mayo! Believe it or not, it's a holiday that's always on the same day every year. This year, however, it fell on a Sunday--and that reminds us that there are reasons to celebrate in the world. Luke 15 has three parables that all ended in a fiesta. What can we learn from these parables on this side of Easter?
