I first saw Koops at a wrestling show in Long Beach many years ago and was engraved in my head due to his Gorilla Biscuits tattoo. Koops and I have run into each other at shows for some time now, and although we are opposites of each other, we are also very similar. We both love hardcore and want to better our lives in our own ways.

Sherwin, a Texas hardcore kid, rose to prominence as a tour manager in the alternative music scene.
From releasing Power Trip’s initial demo to overseeing tours for Shoreline Mafia, Lil Peep, Iron Age, and Power Trip, he now manages acts like SEMATARY and Jesus Piece.
We discuss his upbringing through his teenage years, starting with assisting Power Trip, embarking on DIY tours with Iron Age, constructing a venue/house in Texas, which was ultimately shut down after a Trash Talk/Odd Future show, and ultimately, making a career out of managing tours and acts.

Ep. 119 - Ronn Perez

Took a trip to the Inland Empire to interview Ronn, a Colton native who is quite an encyclopedia on Inland Empire Hardcore.
Being known for his wholesome and warm style of photography, Ronn has also played bass in bands such as Hordes and Sistema Distopiko.
We speak on his childhood, growing up as first generation in a Mexican household, the rich history of punk in the Inland Empire, getting into photography, and his life today.
Ronn is a kind individual who deserves to be recognized in any form of capacity - it was a pleasure to get a tour of the city.

Dante is a DJ, event organizer, and frontman of the band “Sin + Passion” from Pomona, California.
Dante has been a DJ since his early ‘teens, taking inspiration from his father who has been a DJ for the greater part of his life.
