John Coles is full of wisdom, gentleness and kindness. Having been discipled as a student, he learned how to disciple others and has been doing that ever since. In ministry, he led churches and led New Wine. He has always been deeply affected by the personal encounter with Jesus that he experienced through the Holy Spirit in the 80s. Ness is a life-long learner who has invested her life in Jesus and growing others around her. She arrived at Loughborough University in 1990 at the start of the boom of student mission. In her first term, the number of Christians in her halls trebled. She has been leading students to Jesus ever since through her church plant, Open Heaven, in Loughborough. John McGinley is a big picture visionary. At university, he committed to spending an hour every morning at 7am in prayer as he shared the gospel with those around him. Today, he leads a missional movement that gathers and sends tens of thousands of young people and catalyses church planting in the UK. He still prays at 7am each morning. Lucy Peppiatt is a self-proclaimed Bible nerd and intellectual powerhouse of a leader. Growing up in the 80s and 90s, Sarah Yardley was profoundly impacted by the ministry of Chuck Smith (from the Jesus Revolution movie!) and is all about Jesus. Since then, she has left a beautiful legacy in the lives of countless young adults through mentoring them, encouraging them and spending time with them. Nicky Gumbel was a staunch atheist at Cambridge University in the 1970s. His friends shared the gospel with him and after a night of reading the Bible he gave his life to Jesus. 50 years later, he is reflecting back on all that God has done through in his life.
