My older brother, Mickey, will celebrate 22 years since his last drink on 1/1/2026. We both lived through his very bad days and now have the reward of his very good ones.
That makes the great news I got the other day even more special.
Jarrett Burton, a former intern and staff member on my show, has been clean and sober for years. Now he pays it forward everyday through his work at Serenity House.
We had lost touch and I had no idea how bad things had gotten for him before he made the choice to fight for his own life.
His father has written an amazing book about his own deeply difficult upbringing and the blessings of his family. He celebrates his "new" relationship with his son and their very good days together.

This is part two, of many, in a continuing effort to understand the terminology of politics and how it affects all of us. In other words we cut through the BS for you and you use your new knowledge to start to change a broken system.
On part one I previewed "recess appointments" (starts at 26:35 right after the break) which is another threat to go around the Constitution and do what you want from the White House.

It's been two weeks since the election and I need to say two things.
1) I was wrong about the winner2) I'm not wrong about what I believe
In this first episode of LIVE FROM MY OFFICE since Trump was elected, again, I tackle the truths of where we are and what's ahead. Also included is a new feature called THERE ARE NO STUPID QUESTIONS and we tackle recess appointments because we all need to know. I also talked about the insanity of Trump's Cabinet nominations and we recorded this a few minutes before news broke about one of the clowns... So clearly this episode has something for everyone!
