Laying down your life for your family isnât necessarily easy. We can easily know the Lord has called us to it, but itâs hard work (often found in small, daily choices), calls for sacrifice (oftentimes in ways that feel very personal), and needs a vision that can only come from the Lord. The world we live in lies to us about what this means and what it should look like. We need the Truth to keep us encouraged and on track with how to live it out. Join us as we talk about how weâve honestly engaged with this calling in different seasons of life, amidst the worldâs lies, and with hearts to obey His Word.

Join us as we talk about politics and the Word and what it means for each of us. **We will NOT be talking about specific candidates or issues.

You donât need much to see Him bless your heart to serve others. Emotions are a very real part of us. They can be so wonderful and yet also so challenging to manage. What does it look like for us to have self-control in this area and honor the Lord with them? Weâre all so differentâŠsome of us tend to âgive inâ to how weâre feeling when the emotions are strong and others would rather âstuffâ them and not deal with them. Both responses need the Lordâs help to navigate. Join us as we share some of what the world of emotions looks like in our lives and some thoughts on what it could look like in yours.

We all need self-control. Our children need us to help them learn it and grow in it. Our culture encourages our children to have their âbig emotionsâ and respond to their feelings. The Bible tells us we need to control our emotions (verbally, emotionally, and physically) and that a man without self-control is like an unprotected city. Itâs dangerous. As parents, we are called to help equip our children in the biblical principles theyâll need to navigate life. Join us as we share practical tips and stories of what this has looked like in our homes and what the Lord has for you in yours.

Itâs important to spend time with the Lord. This is both a discipline and a relationship. And what that time looks like changes over the years as we are in different seasons of life. And what do you do when your quiet times are rather âquietâ and youâre not sure what the Lord is saying to you? Join us as we share what time with the Lord looks like in our own lives and thoughts on how you can grow in yours.

Ephesians 5:33b says, ââŠeach of you also must love his wifeâŠand the wife must respect her husband.â This is the godly assignment that the Lord has given us as wives. Itâs not always easy to do. Especially in a world that tells us our husbands must earn respect first. That is not what this verse says. We want to be women who fully embrace what it means to respect our husbands and bring glory to the Lord as we do it. Many of the principles are also applicable to women who arenât wives yet. Respect for the role of leadership is vital. Join us as we share our victories, struggles, and practical applications of this very beautiful assignment from the Lord.
