Long Island Seafood Cuisine Trail Gains Momentum!
New York State's South Shore Trail, part of the Long Island Seafood Cuisine Trail, continues to gain popularity. Spanning from Bay Shore to Montauk, the trail features 20 seafood businesses and related points of interest. The North Shore Trail is set to launch this summer, expanding the seafood stops to 25 locations.
Long Island Aquarium's Otter Pups Capture Hearts
The Long Island Aquarium has introduced four newborn North American river otter pupsâtwo males and two femalesâborn in February. Visitors can participate in naming them through an online poll, with winners announced on Mother's Day. The pups and their mother are currently on display at the "Otter Falls" exhibit, which helps celebrate the aquariumâs 25th anniversary.

For the past 13 years, Marine Corps Veteran Anthony Suppa and his team Mike Mistretta , Steve Mistretta and Donna Neuman - owners of Frantoniâs Restaurant on Long Island, have made it their mission to spread joy and generosity during the holiday season. This year, they continue that tradition with the 13th Annual Toys for Tots event, hosted at the renowned Oheka Castle on December 15, 2024, from 12 PM to 3 PM.
