Many of us struggle with limiting beliefs about what sexuality should be. We need to approach our sexuality as a practice, just like meditation or yoga.
In this episode, tantra and intimacy coach Layla Martin offers tools and techniques to help us get in touch with our energy and connect with ourselves more deeply.
It all starts with a pleasure practice â dedicating time to connecting with our sexuality, using breathwork, meditation, and physical movements to release stuck emotions.
Sharing daily intentions and support, and scheduling weekly moments to connect emotionally and energetically with our partners helps us create the space to honour all expressions of sexuality, experiencing it as a rainbow of possibilities rather than a single colour.
The pressures and misconceptions we often face can make sex a source of stress rather than joy. But by focusing on presence with our body and exploring sensations without judgment. we can embrace the full spectrum of our sexuality and find liberation in our sacred experiences.

Everything you need to know about men in order to be the most embodied and conscious woman you can be. -
Many men feel disconnected from their masculine energy. This shows up as a lack of backbone, not standing up for oneself or loved ones, and people-pleasing. It can also lead to performance anxiety and trouble connecting deeply in intimate relationships.
The root of these issues often lies in a fear of confrontation, a need to control situations, and an emotional disconnect. To help tackle this, we can start by grounding ourselves in our masculine energy. This means cultivating a strong sense of self and being able to set boundaries.
If we arenât connected to our masculine energy, we risk living passively and feeling unfulfilled. We can struggle with self-worth and face challenges in relationships as others won't know where we stand.
In this episode, Lorin offers prompts you can jot down in your journal, to help you reflect on what you want to achieve and to outline the steps to get there. These small actions can lead to meaningful change.

Is love enough to sustain a lasting and fulfilling relationship? While love is a powerful force, it doesn't automatically ensure a successful partnership. The problem often lies in the barriers and limitations we place around love, which stem from our unconscious patterns and fears.
We need to focus on healing and removing these barriers, allowing love to flow freely and deeply within our relationships. We must devote ourselves to creating a safe container for love to grow, which means working on ourselves and understanding our partners.
Relationships can become difficult and unfulfilling when we let our traumas and shadows dominate. This leads to a lack of passion, safety, and trust, turning relationships into cycles of pain.
But by focusing on our personal growth and the barriers we face, we can bring more love and consciousness into our relationships.

So many men struggle with feeling safe and secure in themselves and in their relationships. This lack of safety can stem from deep wounds, like losing a father figure early in life. In this episode, Lorin explores how to become a safe and secure man by undergoing an awakening journey.
It all starts with self-reflection â this can be through guided sessions, men's groups, or your own private practise. The goal is to strengthen your inner security, to address past wounds and learn to feel safe within yourself, without relying on validation from outside.
If youâve found yourself stuck in a cycle of seeking reassurance from others, you might have looked for other things to fill the void, like doomscrolling on social media, or looking for attention outside of a committed relationship.
But by reflecting on your past experiences and identifying areas where you feel insecure, you take the first step towards healing and developing a stronger sense of self.

Many men carry the weight of generational trauma. It shows up as avoidance of deeper pain, disconnecting from emotions, and not living from our true masculine core. Manâs history of warfare and the conditioning we've received about being stoic and emotionless have a large part to play.
To heal, men need to own their issues, face their wounds head-on, acknowledge the pain, and make healing our main focus.
If we donât, we risk remaining stuck in emotional reactivity and disconnection. Weâll struggle in relationships, unable to feel love or be present with our partners, creating more pain and insecurity for us and those we care about.
In this episode, Lorin offers an explanation of the generational trauma carried by men, how men can work through it, and how women can support this work.

Generational trauma is passed down through history, from grandmothers to mothers to daughters. It stems from centuries of suppression, where the feminine was not safe to express its full wisdom and intuition. This has left a lasting impact on the feeling of safety women experience today.
In this episode, Lorin explores ways to begin to heal this generational trauma, by understanding and acknowledging it. For women, their work is to avoid suppressing the emotions that arise, and to disidentify with them and from the trauma they stem from.
And for men, their work is to stop invalidating the feelings of the women in their lives â to hold space for them, and not dismiss them.
The awakened feminine and masculine can work together to break the cycle where women feel unsafe to be themselves â to heal the trauma and pain, to avoid passing it down, and to live more fulfilled lives.

We all live with abandonment wounds. Often they stem from the way our parents or caregivers treated us. But later in life they show up in relationships, where we feel rejected or betrayed.
These feelings might not stem from big, traumatic events â sometimes they develop from subtle, ongoing dynamics where we don't feel safe to be ourselves.
Understanding when our abandonment wounds are showing up means we can deal with them more effectively. In this episode, Lorin offers practical ways to heal, focusing on self-awareness and emotional regulation.
We start by becoming aware of how we react to those feelings of rejection when they come up. We then need to practice self-compassion and patience.
Exposed or unaddressed abandonment wounds can lead to strained relationships and constant anxiety. We can find ourselves stuck in a cycle of fear and mistrust, unable to build healthy connections. But, by observing our reactions in relationships, and noticing when feelings of abandonment surface, we can take those first steps toward healing.

Lots of men struggle to express their emotions, which can lead to them feeling isolated and frustrated.
The solution starts with open and honest conversations with friends and loved ones. Men need to practice setting boundaries and expressing their emotions without fear of judgment â and to hold safe spaces for others to express themselves.
In this episode, Lorin sits down with yoga, breathwork and sound healer Leo Oppenheim, who shares his journey towards awakened masculinity, and how men need to realise their role as one of listener, rather than problem-solver.

Relationships often hit that moment when a woman feels something is missing⊠but she can't articulate it. This can be confusing to both partners. A man may think he needs to please her by doing more. But the real problem goes far deeper.
In this episode, Lorin explains that the solution lies in both partners understanding what "more" means. If this isnât communicated and what she wants is unarticulated and never realised, the relationship can become dysfunctional. This can draw men towards neediness which pushes their partners away.
This episode offers the opportunity to understand our own desires and paths, and is crucial listening for both men and women.

Plenty of couples go through a period where thereâs little to no sex involved. This can be really upsetting as a healthy sex life is a crucial part a flourishing relationship.
Both parties have a role to play here. Men need to face their insecurities and learn how to hold space for the emotional experiences that arise during sex. And women need to feel safe, both emotionally and physically.
In this episode, Lorin explores how men can overcome performance anxiety and how women can fully engage in the sexual experience.
Healthy relationships need sex. Without it, partners can grow further apart, harbour resentment, and less willing to be intimate. But it isnât about sex alone â itâs about emotional connection, trust, and mutual respect.

Women have a unique ability to sense and feel subtle changes and shifts. But this ability can trigger defensiveness and resistance in their male partners. This resistance can be harm the growth and evolution of the relationship, causing stagnation and even leading to dysfunctional dynamics.
As Lorin explores in this episode, the key lies in acknowledging and validating the woman's intuition and using it as a tool for growth and deeper connection. For men, this means recognising when theyâre triggered, being honest about it, and thanking their partner for their insights. For women, it means not taking the resistance personally and reframing it as a reflection of the otherâs inability to hold deep truths, rather than a judgment of their intuitive power.
If the woman feels invalidated and the man stays stuck in his defensiveness, this will harm a relationship in the long term. It can lead to resentment, and create a stalemate where neither party evolves or grows.
But understanding the power of a woman's intuition and how to work with it it can be a game-changer. We can start by sharing our feelings, expressing when we feel triggered, and practicing active listening to validate and honour each-other's experiences.

Showing up consistently in a relationship is hard. We want to build trust, but we often get stuck in our heads and forget the little things that matter. These small moments of forgetfulness can lead to a lack of trust and disconnect in our relationships.
This episode offers a simple and powerful way to build trust by embodying consistency. It's about being present, intentional, and conscious throughout the day â about following through with our words and promises, and expressing our love consistently.
Small moments of forgetfulness can add up over time, causing distrust and disconnect. While these moments might not lead to a total relationship meltdown, they keep us from reaching the highest level of intimacy and trust with our partners.
Todayâs episode is an invitation to make a conscious effort to follow through with our words and promises. Remember, it's about the small things. A few minutes or even seconds per day of honouring our partners goes a long way.

Many men seem to take their partners for granted over time, even when they deeply love them. They stop putting in the effort and expressing their love as they once did. This behaviour is often rooted in a sense of unworthiness, a deeply ingrained belief that sabotages their relationships.
Fixing this behaviour takes courage, awareness, and regular practice to keep our hearts open, even when it feels painful.
Without taking ownership and action, men risk falling into a cycle of unworthiness that sabotages our relationships. We may become numb, disconnected, and stuck in our heads. Our hearts may close, and we may stop putting effort into our relationships, causing them to wither.
In this episode, Lorin lays out some daily habits and practices that will keep you connected with your heart and help you break free from the cycle of unworthiness.

The purpose of spiritual awakening is to realise the truth of how things are, not how we want them to be. This can be challenging and even painful, but it's an essential part of the spiritual journey.
In this episode, Lorin explains why we need to be present and embrace whatâs happening right now, rather than thinking âthis shouldnât beâ. This doesn't mean giving up our passions or desires, but operating in harmony with the spirit.

We all carry emotional wounds, and one of the most damaging is the father wound. This wound often manifests in our relationships, leading to patterns of self-sabotage, distrust, and emotional upheaval. But there is a way out.
In this episode, Lorin offers practical steps to heal and overcome the father wound, by recognising dysfunctional patterns, connecting with the deeper pain that drives them, and taking ownership.
When our father wound becomes triggered, it can lead to a vicious cycle of unfulfilling relationships and self-sabotaging behaviour. We can end up pushing away the very people we want to hold closest, which then reaffirms our deepest fears and insecurities.
But this episode will help you find time and space to set yourself on the path towards healing.

We're all guilty of using spirituality to sidestep or avoid dealing with unresolved emotions from time to time. Itâs called spiritual bypassing, and itâs quite common, especially in relationships. It's yet another way our shadow self prevents us from evolving and becoming our highest self.
The key is to lean into it â to face our deeper core wounds head-on and focus fully on them instead of trying to avoid or bypass them. This means acknowledging our behaviours and patterns.
If youâve found yourself feeling stuck, experiencing inner conflict, resistance or emptiness, that pain might be the result of avoiding your deeper wounds. But by asking a simple question, we can reconnect with our deeper truth and avoid spiritual bypassing.
