Graham and Sebastian came along to read at a reading I held. After each person read we hung out had a tremendous time. Gregory Taffer, Rachelle Toarmino, Aidan Ryan and Tom Snarsky were apart of the audience. You may hear them pop up. Just a roundtable of random voices coming together. This is one of my favorite episodes.

Rachelle Toarmino and Aidan Ryan take over this show this week. Rachelle founded the Peachmgzn and Aidan invented the Foundlings Press . They asked to interview me. So here we are. I was reluctant to do this. I;m not super articulate. However the more I do these sorts of things I believe the better I'll be when asked to participate in them.

New episode! Gion Davis is a poet from New Mexico. I’ve been up too long. As I was putting this up I heard things I could edit out - HAD to be edited out so I had go through that process and I think it is superior, though.. No episode is ever perfect. Never perfect enough. I can not process thoughts into a coherent logical statement. Gion is a poet. That’s all I can muster.
Okay. Clementine Is Right. Mass. University. Too Much was published in 2022.
They’re from New Mexico – check out their new work in Ghost City Press, and PeachMgzn and other sites.

Thank you ! DA !!! God, this was an event.
It's been a rough day. This conversation was a delightful distraction from everything else going on. I can't wait for everyone to hear it! Let's move on and out and upwards and outwards.
I'm trying. Trying to make it to tomorrow.

I chatted with a very game Paul Hanson Clark about a lot of things. We spoke about stuff. He was great. I hope to have him return. I only went 90 mins because I feel like two hours woulda wasted a potential return. Like because one hour is never enough time but two hours can feel like too much. 90 is perfect. I think. Paul is a returning guest from an earlier episode. He's from Nebraska! He knows Austin Islam and Ctch. That's why he recorded an episode with Austin, earlier in the year.

Erin Taylor (they/ them) was chill enough to come on and open up about their life, about their poetry and friends and experiences in life. We talk about anarchy, poetry and "Bimboland" and about their time in New York and L.A. and other places. "Bimboland" is their first book of poetry. It's published by Archway Editions. I asked Erin to read "Love Language" from Stacey Teague. That was in the spinoff - a magazine in New Zealand. Because Stacey is a cool poet, too. Happy holidays people.

Today I spoke with the poet and founder of METATRON - Ashley Obscura.
Metatron is an experimental online space for poetry and art. and is an independent press as well. I was very interested in the new section of the site - GLYPHORIA which is an experimental take on literary magazines but feels different to me. I love the website and many of the new pieces. Anyways, we spoke about how she started out in Canada and her beginnings in publishing,. We ended up discussing video games, virtual reality, ethics, and the business of running an indie press.
These are the books Ashely has written - "SEXO POR ÚLTIMA (Socios Fundadores, 2022), AMBIENT TECHNOLOGY (Metatron, 2018) and I AM HERE (Metatron, 2014) .

On this episode I invited Carmen and Mary Boo from past episodes to discuss Erin Taylor's poetry collection Bimboland. Out by Archway books. We start off the program talking about Mary Boo's residency she's put together with Zoe . Then we move on to a short film called "The Burden" I asked both to pick one or two poems from Bimboland to talk about! This starts in at around 30 mins in. Enjoy the show. It was so fun and such a great time. These two have been on before and I enjoy both of them so much. I feel like they both up my game and also I feel very like comfortable and I vibe well with both of'em . We kind of ricochet off each other, creatively.
