The Road Less Travelled is an Australian podcast documenting and capturing the Australian spirit of travel, discovery and adventure. Join your host Nicki Shea where together you'll experience adventures all around Australia.
There's always a story involved as each week we are out caravanning, 4WDing, fishing, camping, gold detecting, cooking and exploring places, history and visiting destinations all rolled into each episode.
This is a self funded independent podcast, and we would love your support!
Got something we should feature, review, discover or explore; drop us a line.
For over 25 years Nicki Shea has been in the motorcycling and motorsport media. Aged 14 when her family sold up house and business got a caravan and 4wd and headed around Australia almost as gypsies, picking up work along the way, meeting all walks of people, and visiting hidden places. Schooled on the road by correspondence and educated by life adventures, and a generation of tales and stories to be shared. Traveling is in her veins and Australia is a vast landscape waiting to be visited and explored. What a combination!

Cars with a side of cookies, coffee, and pie!
There are plenty of gearhead reviews out there that rattle off horsepower and torque and sort of sound like someone just grabbed the spec sheet and started reading. I can do that - but it's not all that interesting. I review cars for real people. People who want to know about the little things and big things that make you love or hate your car. Is it comfy? Is there a place for all your stuff? Can you climb into the third row without being a contortionist? Is the infotainment so fiddly it makes you want to take a sledgehammer to the screen? I'll tell you.
This is automotive content from the lighter side. Also, I like cookies and coffee so be prepared for some of that, too. -

This podcast is about tabletop role-playing games around the world. In every episode, I interview RPG enthusiasts and professionals from a non-English speaking country about what games they play, what unique RPGs exist in their country, and how new people get into the hobby. Interviewees include regular gamers, club organizers, game shop owners, creators of actual play videos, RPG authors, and gaming studios. While some places are known for their large role-playing scene and have a lot of local RPG systems, other regions of the world have smaller scenes and might not even have a single RPG in the local language. Every regular episode ends with a teaser for the next country – an excerpt from an actual play recording in that country’s language. The aim of this podcast is to broaden our horizon and find out about RPGs from all over the world. Enjoy!
