BOTTOM LINE, IS: THE LAW CAN ONLY CONDEMN, THROWING US TO FEET OF JESUS CRYING OUT FOR MERCY, AS JESUS IS GIVING US A HAND UP, SAYING, FEAR NOT I HAVE FULFILLED MY FATHER’S COMMANDS FOR YOU, JUST BELIEVE ME BY FAITH IN MY RIGHTEOUSNESS AS YOUR TICKET INTO HEAVEN, BUT NEVER FORGETTING TO BE BE IN A STATE OF REPENTANCE OVER OUR ORIGINAL SIN. LIKE A BROKEN LEG, IN A CAST, WE KNOW WE WILL BE HEALED, SO WILL OUR CAST OF A BROKEN HEART OVER ORIGINAL SIN BE TAKEN OFF AT OUR PHYSICAL DEATH AND WE WILL NO LONGER BE WALKING WITH A SOUL LIMP.
Martin Luther:
“COROLLARY
To say: "God has obliged us to have grace and therefore to what
is impossible"
is an inept and foolish way of speaking.
I excuse the most blessed God.
He is innocent of this deception.
He has not done this.
He has NOT OBLIGED us to HAVE GRACE,
but
he has OBLIGED
us to FULFILL THE LAW
in order
to give us HIS GRACE
WHEN,
HUMILIATED,
we ask for it.
But these men make grace into something that causes indignation
and
they imagine what is hateful.
For what does it
mean to say:
God has obliged us to have grace,
and he does not
want
to accept the fulfillment of the law
according to the substance
of the deed
if
it is not also fulfilled
according to the intention of
the lawgiver?
Is this not the same as to say:
Look, can we, then,
fulfill the law without grace?
Is it not enough that he has burdened
us with the law,
without adding his demand that we should have
grace, as a new exaction?
What arrogance!
What ignorance of sin!
What ignorance of God!
What ignorance of the law!
IN OTHER WORDS, DOES JESUS WANT US TO ADD UNTO HIS PERFECT FULFILLMENT OF HIS FATHER’S COMMANDMENTS TO HIM WHILE HE WAS HERE ON EARTH?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
What arrogance!
What ignorance of sin!
What ignorance of God!
What ignorance of the law!
Thus, when
God offers grace to us miserable creatures
BECAUSE
HE SEES that WE
CANNOT FULFILL his LAW
and
so that
we may now
fulfill it by the power
of grace, (FOOLISHLY, BELIEVE WE, THAT WE CAN ONLY FULFILL PART OF GOD’S LAW, JESUS THEN WILL FULFILL THE REMAINDER)
THESE PEOPLE are NOT yet
sufficiently humbled
and they
still do not know
that the law cannot be fulfilled
according to the
substance of the deed as they themselves say.
It may be, then,
that
they mean by "substance of the deed" an external action.
But
they
do not do this at all;
they have reference also to an internal action.
they subsume under "substance of the deed"
a work
that is
done for the sake of God from the heart
by an act of the will
that
is naturally educed.
Fools that they are,
they do not notice that the
will,
even if it could,
would never do what the law prescribes.
For
it resists
the good and inclines toward evil.
This they certainly
must know in their own experience,
and yet they talk so irrever-
ently and sacrilegiously.
For as long as it is reluctant toward the
law,
it is turned away from it and
THUS DOES NOT FULLFILL IT
Consequently,
it needs GRACE
to make it willing and cheerful toward the
law.
I was right, then,
when I said
that ALL our GOOD is OUTSIDE US;
and
CHRIST IS this GOOD.

GENERALLY SPEAKING WE MUST BE FED OUR SPIRITUAL FOOD IN LIKENESS TO HOW WE FEED OUR NATURAL MAN BODY. MOST OF US NATURAL MAN AMERICANS EAT 1-3 TIMES PER DAY. WE DON’T USUALLY EAT FOR TWO DAYS AND SKIP A DAY. LIKEWISE THE SPIRITUAL MAN AND ALL OF US NATURAL MAN AMERICANS WHO DESIRE TO BECOME A SPIRITUAL MAN MUST FEED ON THE WORD OF GOD DAILY. WE CAN USE THESE MESSAGES TO LISTEN A 1/2 HOUR TO AN HOUR PER DAY, OR MORE AND ATTEMPT TO BE CONVICTED OF SIN, FOR CONVICTION OF SIN IS THE SIGN THAT GOD IS WORKING IN OUR LIFE. IF WE LISTENED TO OUR LAST MESSAGE BY GEORGE WHITEFIELD WE FOUND THAT THE KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST IS TRULY THE BEST KNOWLEDGE WE CAN OBTAIN FOR IT WILL GIVE US A FREEDOM BEYOND OUR GREATEST IMAGINATION COULD IMAGINE. WHEN JESUS’ FATHER REVEALS HIS SON TO US IN SUCH A WAY THAT WE HAVE ZERO FINGERPRINTS ON IT, IT WILL NOT BE THE ANEMIC CONVERSION OUR FASTFOOD FREEWILL THEOLOGIANS OFFER US, BUT IT WILL BE THE GREATEST MOMENT OF OUR LIVES, A FOREVER LASTING RADICAL CHANGE IN NATURE.

“But before I had got thus far out of these my temptations,
I did greatly long to see some ancient godly man’s experience,
who had writ some hundreds of years before I was born;
for
those who had writ in our days,
I thought (but I desire them now to pardon me)
that they had writ only that which others felt; or else had, through the strength of their wits and parts, studied to answer such objections as they perceived others were perplexed with, without going down themselves into the deep.
Well, after many such longings in my mind,
the God,
in Whose hands are all our days and ways,
did cast into my hand (one day) a book of Martin Luther’s; it was his Comment on the Galatians;
it also was so old, that it was ready to fall piece from piece if I did but turn it over.
Now I was pleased much that such an old book had fallen into my hand, the which when I had but a little way perused,

Besides, he doth most gravely also in that book,
debate of the rise of these temptations,
namely,
blasphemy, desperation, and the like;
showing that the law of Moses, as well as the devil, death, and hell,
hath a very great hand therein: the which, at first, was very strange to me;
but considering and watching,
I found it so indeed. But of particulars here,
I intend nothing; only this methinks I must let fall before all men—
I do prefer this book of Martin Luther upon the Galatians (excepting the Holy Bible)
before all the books that ever I had seen, as most fit for a wounded conscience.

These things are often mentioned in Scripture
as Evi|dences of extreme Folly and Stupidity,
wherein Men act as great Enemies to themselves,
as tho' they loved their own Ruin;
And how can these things be accounted for,
but by supposing
a most WRETCHED Depravity of Na|ture?
Why otherwise
should not
Men be as wise for themselves
in spiritual and eternal Things…
If any should say, '
Tis true,
if Men gave full Credit
to what they are told concerning
eternal Things,
and these appeared to 'em as real and certain Things,
it would be
an Evidence of a sort of Madness in them,
that they shew
no greater Regard to 'em in Practice:
But there is Rea|son to think,
this is not the Case;
the Things of another World,
being unseen things,
appear to Men as things of a very doubtful Nature,
In ANSWER,
I would observe, agreeable to what has been cited from Mr. Locke,
Though eternal things were considered in their bare Possibility,
if
Men acted rationally,
they would infinitely outweigh all temporal Things
in their Influence on their Hearts.
And I would also ob|serve,
that the supposing eternal Things
not to be fully believed,
at least by them who enjoy the Light of the Gospel,
does not weaken,
but rather strengthen the Argu|ment for the Depravity of Nature.
For the eternal World
being what God had chiefly in View in the Cre|ation of Men,
and
the Things of this World
being made to be wholly subordinate to the other,
Man's State here being
only a State of Probation, Preparation & Progression,
with respect to the future State,
and so eternal Things
being in Effect Men's All,
their whole Concern:
to un|derstand and know which,
it chiefly was, that they had Un|derstanding

given 'em;
and it concerning
them infinitely more to know the Truth of eternal Things than any other,
as all that are not Infidels will own;
Therefore,
we may undoubtedly conclude,
that if Men have not Respect to 'em as real and certain Things,
it cannot be for Want of sufficient Evidence of their Truth,
to induce 'em so to regard them;
especially as to them
that live under that Light,
which God has appointed as the most proper Ex|hibition
of the Nature and Evidence of these Things:
But it must be from a dreadful Stupidity of Mind,
oc|casioning a sottish Insensibility of their Truth
and Im|portance,
when manifested by the clearest Evidence.

CAN WE AS AMERICANS BE LIKE KING DAVID, A MAN AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART,
LIKE IN THE FOLLOWING PSALM:
Psalm 119: [97] O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
[98] Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
[99] I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
[100] I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
[101] I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
[102] I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
[103] How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
[104] Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
[105] Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
[106] I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
[107] I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.

IN ORDER TO OBTAIN A HEART AFTER GOD’S OWN AS KING DAVID HAD,
WE MUST FIRST,
BE HONEST WITH OURSELVES,
FOR WE KNOW WE LIE TO OURSELVES THE MOST,
ESPECIALLY ABOUT ETERNAL LIFE.
HAVE WE AS JOHN Q. PUBLIC OF AMERICA EVER ASKED OURSELVES, ESPECIALLY THOSE OF US THAT GO TO CHURCH, DO WE LOVE JESUS MORE THAN OUR SPOUSE OR ANY OTHER PERSON?
DOES JESUS REQUIRE THIS IN ORDER FOR US TO BE ONE OF HIS DISCIPLES?
Dr. Luke 14: 25] And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned,
and said unto them,
[26] If any man come to me,
and hate not
his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters,
yea, and his own life also,
he cannot be my disciple.
[27] And whosoever
doth not bear his cross,
and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
[28] For which of you,
intending to build a tower,
sitteth not down first,
and counteth the cost,
whether he have sufficient to finish it?
[29] Lest haply,
after he hath laid the foundation,
and is not able to finish it,
all that behold it begin to mock him,
[30] Saying,

That Propensity which has been proved to be in the Nature of all Mankind,

The Depravity of Nature appears,
in that the general Consequence of the State & Tendency of Man's Nature

Degree of Sin, than Righteousness;
not only with respect to Value and Demerit,

Matter and Quantity.
I Have before shewn, that there is a Propensity in Man's Nature to that Sin,
which in Heinousness and Ill-desert
immensely outweighs all the Value and Merit of any supposed Good,
that may be in him, or that he can do.

SO WHAT COULD THIS SIN BE, WHICH IS #1 ON GOD’S HATE LIST OF ORIGINAL SINS, THE #1 EVIL PROCLIVITY OF OUR HEART THAT GOD HATES SO MUCH, THAT WHEN THIS EVIL PROCLIVITY OF OUR HEART RAISES ITS UGLY HEAD, AND WE DO NOT FORBID IT AND REPENT OVER IT, BUT ENTERTAIN IT AND EMBRACE IT AND THIS EVIL BLACK CAT ESCAPES GOD IS SO ANGRY THAT HIS HAND OF DISCIPLINE IS SO HORRIFIC THAT THE INDIVIDUALS IN THE BIBLE WHO RECEIVED THESE PUNISHMENTS NO DOUBT WOULD NEVER AGAIN WANT THAT BLACK CAT TO ESCAPE.
HEAR ARE EXAMPLES OF INDIVIDUALS WHO LET THIS DANGEROUS BLACK CAT ESCSPE OUT OF THEIR HEART.

WE AS AMERICANS NEED TO GIVE TRUTHFUL ANSWERS TO A CHILD’S QUESTION OF WHY HE/SHE IS BORN TO DIE, AND BORN INTO THIS WORLD AS AN INNATE LIAR AND THAT LYING CANNOT BE ERADICATED?
BUT SHOULD WE NOT ASK AS AMERICANS HOW IT IS POSSIBLE THAT OUR LEADERS THEMSELVES DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER TO THESE TWO SIMPLE QUESTIONS. HOW COULD THESE HIGH IQ AMERICANS NOT HAVE ON THE TIP OF THEIR TONGUE, THE ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS AND BE ABLE 100% DEFEND IT?

I will tell you by the word "righteousness," I understand all that Christ hat done, and all that Christ hath suffered: or, to make use of the term generally made use of by sound divines, "Christ's active, and Christ's passive obedience;"

What is that? It is what all reformed divines, that have clear heads and clean hearts, call an imputed righteousness, or the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ to be imputed to poor sinners upon their believing: and, if you ask me, what I mean by an imputed righteousness, not to shoot over you heads, but rather, if God shall be pleased to make me, to reach your hearts, I will tell you by the word "righteousness,"

Blessed be God for the epithet which in the text is put to this righteousness; it might be called a blessed righteousness, it might be called a glorious righteousness, it might be called an invaluable righteousness; but the angel calls it an everlasting righteousness: God give you to take the comfort of it!
I said before, so I tell you again, the righteousness of Jesus Christ is an everlasting righteousness: it is wrought out for the very chief of sinners. Ho, every one that thirsteth, let him come and drink of this water of life freely.

BECAUSE OF THIS MORAL MELTDOWN IN AMERICA ALL OF US AMERICANS NEED HOPE: THUS WE ALL AS AMERICANS NEED TO KNOW WE ARE ALL BORN INTO THIS WORLD WITH THE SAME HOPE, THAT JESUS MIGHT FIND US, BEFORE WE DIE PHYSICALLY, AND MAKE US A NEW SPIRITUAL CREATION, NO MATTER WHAT THE DEPTHS OF DEPRAVITY WE MAY HAVE FALLEN INTO, NOR HOW MUCH MORALITY WE MAY HAVE ACHIEVED, FOR BY ELECTION, WE ALL HAVE THE SAME CHANCE OF BEING SAVED. FOR NONE OF US KNOW WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN BEEN ELECTED BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.

THEN WE AS JOHN Q. PUBLIC OF AMERICA SAY TO OURSELVES IF WE WERE SATAN, WHO IS THE ULTIMATE COUNTERFEITER, WHAT PART OF THE BIBLE WOULD WE COUNTERFEIT, BUT SALVATION, WHICH IS THE HUB OF THE WHEEL.
SO THEN WE ASK OURSELVES WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY IS THE TICKET INTO HEAVEN?
DOES THE BIBLE HAVE JUST ONE ANSWER OR DOES IT HAVE SEVERAL SEEMINGLY CONTRADICTORY ANSWERS.
IS JESUS LYING WHEN HE SAYS THAT THE TICKET INTO HEAVEN IS: KEEP THE COMANDMENTS.
Matt. 19: [16] And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
